In spring 2017, the management of the Liebherr plant in Pune, India felicitated 20 staff in total on the occasion five-year competition of working with the company and at the same time thanked them for their commitment, dedication, and loyalty. In the course of the celebratory event, the Directors of Liebherr CMCtec India Private Limited honored to the contribution of the employees with a token of appreciation. "Our employees are an important element and are ultimately the key to our success", stated Navin Yadav, Manager Human Resource at Liebherr CMCtec India Pvt. Ltd. "We are very proud that since our foundation we are constantly expanding the skills and expertise of our employees in the manufacture of tower cranes."
"The Indian market for tower cranes is developing and we created especially for this market the new NC-B series", stated Mr. Saeed Yahya, Director Finance & Administration. For this purpose he thank the employees and said “’we rely on an experienced workforce and also on the intensive exchange of information and ideas with our international colleagues within the tower crane division."
“I appreciate the affiliation shown by the employee towards the factory and have nourished Liebherr values and culture”, stated Mr. Mathias Knorr, Director Production. “I am also proud to be part of the team of 5-year completion club which rejoices me also.”
"What I like in particular about my work at Liebherr is that the hierarchies are flat. For example, we can contribute our own ideas and if the ideas are good they are also implemented", highlights Mr. Rajendra Tarate, one of the employees celebrating five years at the company who is responsible for Shop Floor Production at Liebherr CMCtec India Private Limited. "Seeing tower cranes from Liebherr in India – that makes us really proud."
Every year Liebherr CMCtec India Private Limited honors qualified and committed employees. In total 48 employees have been felicitated for their long-standing employment in the company from its inception in India.
Since 2012, tower cranes have been manufactured at the Liebherr site in the west of the country. In order to meet the local demand, the company built a plant and employees around 80 staff. In Pune, Liebherr manufactures cranes required by the market directly – with short delivery times and without renouncing high-quality technology.
