Within the frame of its corporate social responsibility and sustainability activities, Liebherr-Aerospace Toulouse SAS, Toulouse (France), has introduced a company-wide mobility plan. The aim of this plan is to make it easier for employees to get to their workplaces and back home.

Driving their private cars to work, which 69 % of the staff do today, has been rated as a stress factor in the employee’s mobility survey Liebherr-Aerospace Toulouse SAS conducted in 2013. Unreliable traffic forecasts, traffic jams, finite parking spaces, pollution and increasing costs have prompted employees to think about alternatives to using their cars.

The survey has shown high potential for car-pooling, cycling and public transportation. As a result, an action plan for this year and next year was set up to develop concrete solutions and put these options into practice. More dressing rooms have already been made available to cyclists, who can also use safe access roads to get to the facilities by bike.
