Traineeship at Liebherr in Bulgaria
The Liebherr Group offers vocational training at its Radinovo site in Bulgaria. In 2009, Liebherr-Hausgeräte Marica EOOD established a training center providing in-company training to graduates from vocational high schools. The course leads to a nationally accredited machine technician qualification. Young people therefore have the opportunity to start their working career at Liebherr. The training center also provides internships for school and university students, as well as information events for teachers.
Overview of trainee occupations
Advantages at a glance
The training is highly practice-oriented. It is comparable to the dual study program (combined vocational and educational scheme) in Germany. Basic practical and theoretical knowledge is taught in the training modules, enabling students to work in corresponding skilled jobs once they successfully complete the course. A modern training workshop is available, as well as a classroom for theory lessons and training facilities for teaching control engineering. Students learn basic skills in the training center via action-based learning methods and the project-oriented learning principle. Trainees acquire basic knowledge through independent learning, assisted by interactive learning stations.
To complement technical training, communication and teamworking skills are taught in seminars. Once trainees successfully complete the course, they mainly work as mechanics or as machine and equipment operators.
