About the roleDue to continued growth, Liebherr-Adelaide is seeking a qualified and experienced Electrical Fitter to compliment afternoon shift (2pm to 10.06pm). Reporting to Team Leader Reporting to the Team Leader, Remanufacturing – The Electrical Fitter is responsible for the provision of safe, efficient and compliant; inspection, repair and overhaul services to capital equipment components in the remanufacturing facility.
Duties
- Inspect components for conformity with established standards
- Request required spare parts
- Operate workshop equipment including mobile lifting equipment
- Use a variety of electronic testing and measuring instruments
- Perform diagnostic analysis on complex electrical systems, circuits boards digital / analogue controls and instrumentation equipment
- Rebuild, repair, maintain and overhaul complex electrical components and systems
- Participate in OEM training
- Maintain a very high standard of housekeeping at all times
Skills & Experience
- Certificate III Electrotechnology (HV) or similar essential
- High Risk Licence LF, DG, & EWP all highly desirable
- Large excavator / haul truck and mining equipment experience is well regarded
- Highly competent in the use of measurement equipment to tight tolerances
- Able to work independentl
