We tested it on the hardest layers of material and we reached an extraction volume of 700 t/h. For the overburden, we reach a volume of 1,500 t/h, which is entirely corresponding to our needs. The R 9400 loads 90 t trucks in 5 passes.

The D9812 ICE is built to withstand the tough conditions of the mining industry. By reducing the rated speed to 1,500 rpm, the D9812 ICE is putting less stress on components, increasing his lifetime, and improving the fuel consumption.

With exceptional performance in all applications, they can be adapted to comply with a range of emission standards: FCO or even Tier 4 final.

In Australia, for example, we retrofitted an R 9400 diesel excavator produced in 2010 with an electric drivetrain, turning it into an R 9400 E.
