Responsibilities

As IT Infrastructure Manager, you will take on both operational and strategic development responsibility for the entire IT system landscape at Liebherr Container Cranes. You will lead a dedicated team, ensure the availability and performance of the infrastructure, and drive innovative solutions forward.  The role reports into an organisational structure that covers the IT function across the Liebherr Maritime crane division (Ireland, Germany, Austria and other locations).

Responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to the following:

• Operational management of the IT Infrastructure Department.
• Responsibility for planning, implementation, and continuous development of the IT system landscape.
• Ensuring availability and performance of the IT infrastructure.
• Strategic leadership and development of the IT infrastructure team.
• Budget planning and cost control within your area of responsibility.
• Managing projects in network infrastructure, hardware, servers, storage, and cloud solutions.
• Collaboration with internal departments and external service providers.

Qualifications, Requirements & Experience

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or equivalent qualification.
• Several years of professional experience in IT infrastructure and proven leadership experience.
• In-depth knowledge of network technologies, virtualization, and cloud services.
• Strong strategic and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills and assertiveness
• Experience in project management.
• Very good command of English.
• German language skills advantageous.
