Head of Network Security (m/w/d)Bulle

We are expanding our Global Corporate Information Security Team and looking forward new colleagues and leaders joining us in Bulle (FR) Switzerland, we are looking for a Head of Network Security reporting to Head of Digital Security. The scope of duties includes the following:

Responsibilities:

Oversees the organization’s global network security strategy, ensuring protection of IT, OT and Cloud Environments, as well as Global Leadership of Network Security Team, Products and Services.

• Supervision of deployment of network security solutions (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection systems, VPNs)
• Develop and implement comprehensive network security strategies, policies, and procedures.
• Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of secure network architectures and zones
• Lead regular risk assessments and vulnerability testing to identify and remediate network threats.
• Optimize Network Security Investments, Automation and Network Segmentation for IT and OT.
• Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to integrate security solutions across the network infrastructure.
• Collaborate with SOC/CERT managing incident response for network breaches, ensuring timely containment and recovery.
• Maintain a defensible network design and ensure embedded network security monitoring and traffic analysis.
• Stay current with emerging network security trends, technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.

Competencies:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years in cybersecurity and 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Following certificates are preferred; CISSP or CISM, Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• English is a Must, German and French are a plus.
• Good understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and standards (e.g. ISO27001, NIST)
• Deep understanding of network security concepts and protocols.
• Knowledge of network security frameworks, tools and technologies (e.g., 5G, NGFW, NDR/xDR)
• Knowledge of the major technologies stack and technologies vendor (CISCO, PaloAlto, Fortinet, Aruba)
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Ability to manage and collaborate with stakeholders
• Project management
• Readiness for global travel
