Liebherr at ILA Berlin 2024 – transform.develop.sustain

Liebherr-Aerospace will present various solutions for civil and military aviation at ILA Berlin from June 5 to 9, 2024. Under the motto “transform. develop.sustain.” the company will be represented in hall 2 at booth 100. On display will be latest innovations such as modular electro-mechanical actuators, solutions for local, decentralized hydraulic supply or fuel cell technology for on-board energy supply. Liebherr's activities in the defense sector will be shown in the Military Support Center with a highlight: in a specially installed workshop area, visitors can look over the shoulder of a service technician at work.

Eight PR 776 dozers commissioned for AMMAN

Liebherr Indonesia and AMMAN celebrated the successful commissioning of eight PR 776 mining dozers at the Batu Hijau copper-gold mine in West Sumbawa.

Liebherr: Cliff freezer awarded ‘Red Dot Design Award’

The new Cliff plug-in freezer from Liebherr receives the renowned ‘Red Dot Design Award’. Every year, the award recognises products of impressive and extraordinary design quality, and is awarded on the basis of the four fundamental principles of good design: quality of function, attractiveness, user friendliness and sense of responsibility. Food retail customers also benefit from low operating costs, productive use of space and low maintenance.

Good things come in threes: new mobile crane for Mantovani Global Services Srl

Italian customer Mantovani Global Services Srl expands its fleet by adding a 150-tonne mobile crane. The new LTM 1150-5.3 is lining up next to an LTM 1100-5.2 and an LTM 1250-5.1.

Liebherr receives Best Supplier Award from Embraer

One of the top 10 best suppliers of the year: Liebherr-Aerospace has received from the Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer the Best Supplier Award 2023 in the Program Development category. Liebherr was also voted “Preferred Supplier” for Flight Controls.

In the middle of Canada’s icy winter: LB 30 unplugged

Calgary has a clear goal: to reduce greenhouse gases. Part of the climate strategy is the use of emission-free technological innovations. With the first battery-powered unplugged model on Canadian soil, this strategy is also being consistently pursued in construction projects. During the construction of a new pedestrian overpass, contractor Graham and deep foundation subcontractor Ki International Ltd. put the LB 30 unplugged drilling rig purposely to the test with difficult drilling work and temperatures as low as minus 36 degrees.

Liebherr at IFAT 2024 in Munich

Liebherr will be present at IFAT 2024, the world's leading trade fair for water, sewage, waste and raw materials management, which will take place in Munich from 13 to 17 May 2024, with a stand measuring around 280 m². In Hall C5, Stand 151/250, Liebherr will be exhibiting machines specially designed for use in waste management and recycling. The new LH 40 M Port Elektro electric material handling machine will be celebrating its trade fair premiere in Germany, as well as the new GMM 35-5 multi-tine grapple. With the L 507 E and the L 566 XPower, Liebherr will be showing two representatives from its wheel loader portfolio. The Liebherr T 60-9s, T 41-7s and T 33-10s telescopic handlers will also be part of the exhibition appearance. In the area of digitalisation, Liebherr will be showing the LiXplore® camera monitor system.

Award-winning collaboration between Liebherr and COMAC

Liebherr was honored by COMAC for its outstanding cooperation, especially regarding the landing gear system of the C919 aircraft.

60 years of enthusiasm for heavy loads: Bracht takes delivery of Liebherr LTM 1030-2.1 mobile crane

Franz Bracht Kran-Vermietung GmbH is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year. The company has grown from a sole proprietorship into a group of companies with 16 locations under the motto "Lust auf Last" (translated: "Enthusiasm for heavy loads"). In April, Bracht took delivery of a Liebherr LTM 1030-2.1 adorned with the company's anniversary logo. Including the new crane, the Group currently operates 15 machines of this type.

The World’s Biggest Beach Race: Boulard TP banks on Liebherr Crawler Dozers

Once again, this year France was home to the biggest motorcycle beach race in the world - Enduropale du Touquet Pas-de-Calais. The event has been drawing motorsport enthusiasts together, from all over the world, for over 30 years, and it stands out as a challenge of endurance under extreme conditions. No less of a challenge is creating and maintaining the track; a task the BOULARD TP company (Beaurainville Pas-de-Calais) excels at. With support from the local Liebherr dealer TOUFFLIN, it can bank on a Liebherr PR 716 Crawler Dozer to get the job done.

Tight location, tight schedule: Thömen performs bridge dismantling work in Hamburg

The two railway overpasses “Ferdinandstor” and “An der Alster” are currently the scene of a major construction site directly on the Alster river in the Hanseatic city of Hamburg. Crane service provider Thömen is on site with an LTM 1350-6.1 and an LTM 1650-8.1, among others, to replace the two bridges under challenging conditions. The work has been meticulously planned to ensure that the railway lines can continue to operate as smoothly as possible while the construction work is being carried out. The flyovers connect the nearby main railway station with Hamburg-Altona via five major railway lines.

Liebherr presents HVAC-solution at Middle East Rail 2024

Liebherr-Transportation Systems will be participating in the exhibition Middle East Rail from April 30 to May 1, 2024 in Abu Dhabi (UAE). At booth D40-D, visitors will be able to see and learn about the company’s capabilities in the railroad sector.

Liebherr premiere in France: First L 507 E battery-electric wheel loader handed over to French customer

At Intermat, SAS André LAFONT TP, a company in south-west France specialised in public works and waste recycling, was presented with the ‘key’ to its new wheel loader. It is the first battery-electric wheel loader to be used in France.

Budrovich Contracting Co. takes delivery of the first Liebherr LTM 1110-5.2 equipped with LICCON3 in the US

Midwest- based, Budrovich Contracting Co. received the first Liebherr LTM 1110-5.2 mobile crane outfitted with LICCON3 in the United States. With another LTM 1110-5.2 mobile crane on the way, Budrovich attributes excellent training and successful implementation of Liebherr machines as valuable criteria during the purchasing process.

Liebherr presents upgraded MK 140-5.1 at Intermat 2024

Liebherr's most powerful mobile construction crane, the optimised MK 140-5.1, is making its appearance at the construction machinery trade fair in Paris. Construction firms, timber frame companies and crane rental businesses alike can put the five-axle crane to flexible use, from short jobs in densely built-up inner city areas to work on plants such as refineries. Customers benefit from familiar operation across all machines in the MK series. Future normative regulations will be met through further development.
