GE Maskintjänst is a Swedish family-run company that carries out earthworks and construction work. The company has several Liebherr machines, which are used as service machines in loading and unloading areas, for material transport, for the removal of excavated material and for maintenance work. Additive manufacturing: Liebherr reaches major milestone

Liebherr-Aerospace has made the next major step regarding additive manufacturing of parts with increased complexity for aerospace application. The first-tier supplier has successfully integrated a 3D-printed flex shaft in the Airbus A350 high lift system. The unit has been approved by Airbus as well as by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency EASA for serial production.

Four Liebherr cranes from Emil Egger build trimodal transshipment terminal in Basel

Rhenus Port Logistics is investing in a new transshipment terminal in the Rhine port of Basel-Kleinhünigen (Switzerland). Emil Egger AG was tasked with the logistics for the prefabricated concrete elements. Four Liebherr cranes were deployed in Basel to maximise efficiency during all construction phases.

Liebherr to provide next generation of flight control computers for Airbus

Liebherr-Aerospace was selected by Airbus to deliver flight control computers for its family of commercial aircraft. Those equipment are time critical platforms that host flight control applications developed and integrated by Airbus. They are part of the continuous evolution of the Airbus flight control system. Liebherr holds long-term experience in complex electronics, hardware and software solutions for flight control systems and landing gears. This culminates in developing a dedicated innovative solution, which satisfies Airbus requirements.

Berres takes delivery of Liebherr LTM 1160-5.2 mobile crane

Berres Kranverleih GmbH from Kleinheubach has taken delivery of a Liebherr LTM 1160-5.2 mobile crane. The company from Lower Franconia is replacing a 110-tonne mobile crane with the new 180-tonne crane. It will mainly be used for the assembly of precast concrete elements.

EcoVadis gold medal:Liebherr-MCCtec GmbH honoured again

Liebherr-MCCtec GmbH has received the gold medal from the renowned sustainability rating agency EcoVadis for the third time in a row. This award recognises the company's continuous commitment to corporate responsibility.

Established in large crane class: Sommer takes delivery of Liebherr LTM 1650-8.1 mobile crane

Sommer Kranverleih GmbH has taken delivery of a new Liebherr LTM 1650-8.1 mobile crane. The 8-axle crane replaces an LTM 1500-8.1, with which the Bremen-based company entered the large crane class in 2017. Since then, Sommer has established itself in this segment: One LTM 1450-8.1 and two LTM 1750-9.1 are part of the Sommer crane fleet in the upper lifting capacity segment. Another LTM 1750-9.1 will be added in April.

One soul on two stages

In Chavdar, over 70 km east of Sophia in Bulgaria, Geoservice Engineering (GSE) is building a cut-off wall around a settling basin at a local copper mine. The Bulgarian soil technology experts are using the LRB 355.1 piling and drilling rig from Liebherr for the job.
