Thereby, the Liebherr team pursues an open-technology approach. In the field of internal combustion, the focus of the research and development activities lies on multiple solutions, depending on the needs different fields of application will require in the future.

Aujourd'hui, le moteur à combustion interne est le groupe motopropulseur le plus capable et, à l'heure actuelle, le plus durable pour conduire des applications dans des conditions d'exploitation extrêmes dans l'industrie hors route. Qu'il s'agisse d'humidité élevée ou faible, d'altitudes élevées, d'air poussiéreux, de chocs élevés ou de niveaux de vibration, le moteur à combustions internes présente de nombreux avantages.
