The LPS 180 Liebherr portal crane is designed for an outreach of 35 metres and a capacity of 64 tonnes. The rail-mounted portal is individually manufactured according to customer requirements. Whether it is handling bulk or general cargoes or containers, the LPS 180 is the right handling solution when a space-saving crane installation is sought.

Portal
The design of the portal is customised. This includes: rail spacing, portal height, wheel loads and ladder to the slewing platform.
Stage V / Tier 5 final engine
The Liebherr mobile harbour crane is equipped with the latest generation of diesel engines for the exhaust emissions standards of EU stage V or EPA Tier 5 final.
Driver's cab
Noise protection, windshield wiper, air conditioning. The ergonomic and comfortable features of the cab increase the concentration and reduce the fatigue of the crane operator – for consistently high productivity and a high level of safety.
Main supply
The main supply can be effected via low voltage (400 V) or high voltage (1 kV - 20 kV). The cable drum is secured to the portal and independently takes care of the unwinding and winding of the power cable.
Anti-collision protection
Buffers are provided at all 4 corners of the portal as collision protection. Visible limit switches can be installed as additional security.
