The Brazilian company WWN Guindastes has purchased a used LTM 1500-8.1 from Liebherr. It is the second crane of this model in WWN Guindastes’ fleet and will be used on work that calls for a long reach and high load capacities. For the crane company, the variety of potential uses, the 500-tonner’s high load capacity but also Liebherr’s excellent reputation in relation to used cranes were the deciding factors. When it comes to the purchase of new cranes too, WWN chooses Liebherr: an LTM 1300-6.3 is currently awaiting shipment at the Liebherr plant in Ehingen.

WWN Guindastes, one of the leading companies in the field of crane and lifting work in Brazil, has expanded its fleet further with the purchase of a 500-tonne crane from Liebherr. The LTM 1500-8.1 will be used on various assignments that call for a long reach and high load capacities, such as the dismantling of cranes and the installation of prefabricated components. With this procurement, the crane company is boosting its capacities for handling major projects.

Tried-and-tested crane with a variety of possible uses

In order to address the growing demand for challenging lifting work, the LTM 1500-8.1 from Liebherr will be a powerful partner when it comes to lifting and transporting heavy loads. WWN Guindastes already has an LTM 1500-8.1 in its fleet. With the procurement of a second 500-tonner, the company is doubling down on its trust in the model’s performance. “The LTM 1500-8.1 is a versatile and well-equipped crane which, thanks to its dimensions, is ideal for use in urban areas. Since we already have an LTM 1500-8.1 in our fleet, we are already very familiar with the machine’s functionality and performance”, says Leonardo Navarro, engineer at WWN Guindastes.

The Liebherr LTM 1500-8.1’s high load capacities, variety of possible uses and exceptional mobility are the key characteristics of this 8-axle model. The company also greatly values the heavy-duty crane’s agility, especially when it comes to carrying out complex tasks. “The two boom options with a 50 and 84-metre telescopic boom and the ability to move the crane when it is erected on site give the LTM 1500-8.1 remarkable versatility. These characteristics not only optimise our operations, but also allow us to make flexible adjustments to our work processes,” Navarro goes on to explain.
