Energy efficiency fridges, freezers and fridge-freezers

Our highly energy-efficient appliances allow you to contribute to environmental protection. The resource-saving operation also means reductions in CO2 emissions. However, you can also have a clear conscience with a Liebherr. We use natural refrigerants, for example. And in production we also fulfil our environmental responsibilities. For example, we are entirely switching over our European production sites to green energy.

It sounds contradictory: Reducing consumption and electricity costs while power stays high. How does that work? For one thing, our sensors keep getting more intelligent. It continually adapts cooling power to current usage. Liebherr appliances only use their full power reserves when it’s absolutely necessary. For example to cool down a large quantity of groceries after the weekly shop.

The boundaries between the kitchen and living areas are becoming more blurred in modern households. That’s why our appliances keep the noise to a minimum and are quiet as a whisper. In some cases, it even reaches an ultra-quiet 29 dB. We have the benefit of more than 40 years of acoustic research and our state-of-the-art sound measurement rooms, where all our appliances have to undergo intensive acoustic tests. We only stop when they have passed.

We have the right appliances for all family sizes, living arrangements and space availabilities. From extra-large drawers down to the tiniest details, we make sure that not a litre of cooling volume is wasted, for example, by using convenient lighting solutions recessed in the housing. You can rely on our fridges. At all times. We run tests to ensure all functional parts have a 15-year service life. And in the event of a problem, we guarantee spare parts will be available long-term. You will therefore have many years of pleasures from their Liebherr. This also benefits the environment.
