The New R 936 Compact crawler excavator to be presented at Intermat 2018 in Paris

Liebherr will be presenting its new crawler excavator, the R 936 Compact, at Intermat 2018 in Paris. Boasting compact dimensions and improved performance, this latest model by Liebherr-France SAS (from the production facility in Colmar, France) meets the needs of both the domestic market and those overseas. The new R 936 Compact crawler excavator constitutes a new addition to Liebherr-France SAS's range of compact crawler excavators, which already includes the R 914 Compact, the R 920 Compact and the R 926 Compact. With an operating weight of 35 t, this machine offers versatility, flexibility and productivity, while enabling operators to benefit from maximum reliability.

Great feedback from AusRAIL Plus 2017: The A 922 Rail Litronic railroader from Liebherr attracted plenty of interest

In November, Liebherr exhibited at AusRAIL Plus, the southern hemisphere’s largest rail conference and exhibition, at the Brisbane Convention Centre. The A 922 Rail Litronic attracted plenty of interest from local and international visitors to the event. The A 922 Rail Litronic wheeled excavator has an operating weight of 19.9-22.8 tonnes and can be used as a railroader: either on the road or on railway tracks. The rail travel drive is mounted on either side of the undercarriage. During re-railing, the rail travel drive brings the tyres to rail level, so that the inner wheels of the dual tyres assume the travel drive on rail.

Liebherr-France SAS makes €6 million investment in production

Two Liebherr L 580 XPower® wheel loaders have recently joined the state-of-the-art machinery fleet of Willy Dohmen GmbH & Co. KG. The benefits of the XPower wheel loaders, which combine fuel efficiency, high performance, robustness and comfort, won over the traditional company. Positive experiences with machines of the previous generation also influenced the purchase decision. “We already had other Liebherr large wheel loaders in operation. This included several L 576 and L 586 models from the previous series. We were very happy with these machines. Liebherr is also a reliable service partner and available whenever help is needed,” says Willy Dohmen’s management.

With an operating weight between 19 and 22 tonnes, the new Liebherr R 918 crawler excavator is perfect for earthmoving applications and making trenches and pipe laying. Liebherr crawler tractor PR 766: Update in the 50 tonne category

The new PR 766 crawler tractor offers the best conditions for continuing the success story of Liebherr crawlers in the 50 tonne category. With operating weights of between 46,200 kg and 54,200 kg, the PR 766 is the successor model to the successful PR 764. The latest model in the crawler tractor generation is driven by a powerful 310 kW (422 hp) 8-cylinder V-engine.

New telescopic handler series: Liebherr presents 8 new models in 26 different versions

In the course of 2018, Liebherr will launch 8 new telescopic handler models in a total of 26 different versions. The new Liebherr telescopic handlers will be available in two model lines: First, the top-of-the-range models for materials handling or for production applications (identified by the suffix S). Second, the simple, cost-optimised value models for stacking and lifting applications.

New Liebherr L 576 XPower® wheel loader joins the fleet of recycling specialist Hans Dömkes GmbH

A new Liebherr wheel loader, the L 576 XPower®, recently began operation for Hans Dömkes GmbH, a company rich in tradition. This specialist firm, in the building materials recycling business, mentions the low fuel consumption and excellent build quality of the Liebherr wheel loaders as important criteria for the purchase. “Our new L 576 XPower® moves around 1,500 tonnes of material a day. Despite the particularly harsh operating conditions, it needs just 15.5 litres of diesel per hour of operation,” enthuses Managing Director Udo Dömkes. Anniversary: Liebherr-Hydraulikbagger GmbH celebrates its 75,000th excavator

The 75,000th excavator at Liebherr-Hydraulikbagger GmbH, the founding plant of the Liebherr Group, has been delivered. This is a good reason for the company and its around 1,700 employees to celebrate. The anniversary machine was unveiled to the staff during a celebratory event in the production plant. The A 918 Compact Litronic wheeled excavator received a special graffiti design by Claudia Walde, aka MadC, one of the world's most well-known graffiti artists. The compact wheeled excavator will join the fleet of Liebherr Rental Services.
