While the first two maintenance intervals remain at 500 and 1,000 operating hours respectively, Liebherr is introducing the new interval from the third maintenance onwards. This is made possible by various optimisations in conjunction with Liebherr original spare parts and Liebherr lubricants in the corresponding machines.

One is a Liebherr R 901 from 1968, weighing around 10 tonnes and with an angular design. It has been lovingly restored. The other: an ultra-modern Liebherr R 978 SME weighing over 80 tonnes with high-tech equipment, developed for the quarrying industry. The two exhibits share a common history.
