Liebherr mobile cranes operate the installation of Nossa Senhora Aparecida Sanctuary bell tower, in Brazil

Two Liebherr mobile cranes were used in the assembling of the metallic structure of the bell tower of the National Sanctuary of Nossa Senhora Aparecida, in São Paulo (Brazil). The Sanctuary in the city of Aparecida is the second largest catholic temple of the world, behind only of Saint Peter’s Basilica, in the Vatican. The operation was made by the contractor Guindastes Tatuapé.

Griebel & Mahncke Schwertransporte rely on Liebherr LTM 1095-5.1 mobile crane

Griebel & Mahncke is a transport and assembly contractor which mainly uses the three mobile cranes in its fleet for its own hoisting work. Recently it has added a new crane from Liebherr to its fleet: an LTM 1095-5.1 with a load capacity of 95 tonnes has replaced an 80-tonne machine and is now the company's largest mobile crane. Zimmermann expands crane fleet with Liebherr LTM 1100-4.2 – VarioBase® and remote control deliver enhanced safety and comfort

"All the cranes in our fleet are from Liebherr – and we are very satisfied", reads the statement from Zimmermann Autokrane. The company has now expanded its fleet with a Liebherr LTM 1100-4.2 mobile crane. Zimmermann already has a machine of this type in its fleet which has proved both successful and reliable. The Liebherr VarioBase® innovation and the remote control mean that the new LTM 1100-4.2 can be used with even greater safety and economy.

SCHOLPP takes delivery of new Liebherr LTM 1350-6.1 mobile crane

SCHOLPP Kran & Transport GmbH from Stuttgart took delivery of a new Liebherr LTM 1350-6.1 mobile crane at the manufacturing plant in Ehingen in March 2016. The new mobile crane will replace an older crane of the same type. Managing Director Martin Scholpp explains: "We are so delighted with the LTM 1350-6.1 that we have bought the same model again, but now with new technologies such as VarioBase® and engine with Stage 4 emissions."

From 11 to 17 April Liebherr was represented at Bauma 2016 with over 100 products, an outdoor exhibition stand, a stand for the components division in Hall A4 and a career stand in Hall B0. During the trade fair week, the Group invited visitors to take part in several activities under the motto “Be Part of Something Bigger”, and thus become part of this top-class event.

Liebherr is pleased to announce an exciting series of sales to the USA that were completed during this year’s Bauma trade fair held in Munich Germany. Wisconsin based Ideal Crane Rental Inc. purchased cranes from all three of Liebherr’s crane producing companies, among them for the first time a crawler crane from Nenzing, Austria.

Distinguished for safety: The LICCON2

New 8-axle crane from Liebherr: LTM 1450-8.1 with 85 m telescopic boom on the road

Liebherr presents the new LTM 1450-8.1 with its maximum load capacity of 450 tonnes at the Bauma. The new crane features a very long yet powerful 85 m telescopic boom. The new LTM 1450-8.1 can even perform crane jobs normally reserved for the 500-tonne class in many cases.

LiSIM – Simulators for Liebherr construction machines: training under even more realistic conditions

At Bauma 2016 Liebherr presents its enhanced LiSIM concept. With these simulators it is possible to drive tower cranes, duty cycle crawler cranes, crawler cranes up to 300 tonnes and deep foundation machines in a virtual environment under even more realistic conditions. Ambient conditions such as wind, fog and rain, as well as different times of the day and night, are simulated and trained in a realistic manner. This increases the safety and productivity in real operation.

Four new ones against three old ones – Schuch increases fleet with Liebherr mobile cranes

Crane contractor Schuch is modernising its fleet and replacing three old mobile cranes with four new Liebherr mobile cranes, an LTC 1050-3.1, an LTM 1050-3.1 and two LTM 1070-4.2. Schuch is particularly keen to take advantage of Liebherr's innovative mobile crane technology such as VarioBase® and ECOmode. But green credentials were also an important criterion in the purchase decision: reduced exhaust emissions from the latest generation of engines.

Schot Verticaal Transport orders twelve new Liebherr mobile cranes

Dutch crane contractor Schot Verticaal Transport has ordered twelve new mobile cranes from Liebherr. The company wishes to extend and modernise its fleet. The cranes will be delivered within the next 12 months. The load capacities of the cranes extend from 60 tonnes to 400 tonnes. The long-term good working relationship, excellent service and good value for money of the products were the main criteria for Schot to select Liebherr as its supplier.

Delivery record in the large crane class – 500th Liebherr LTM 1500-8.1 mobile crane handed over

The 500th LTM 1500-8.1 was delivered to heavy goods contractor Riga Mainz in in March. The Liebherr crane is the most successful telescopic crane in its class in the world.
