Which companies assume social, economical and ecological responsibility in Germany and thus represent sustainable commitment? In order to answer this question, ServiceValue conducted a nationwide consumer survey at the start of 2018 in cooperation with Deutschland Test and Focus Money. Liebherr-Hausgeräte GmbH is one of the award winners in the domestic appliances industry and received the rating "Strong".
"We are delighted with this award", states Steffen Nagel, Sales Manager at Liebherr-Hausgeräte GmbH. "It shows that the group-wide fundamental value - We bear responsibility - exists at Liebherr-Hausgeräte GmbH and that we successfully meet the customer requirements of responsible action."
Dr. Markus Stiglbauer, Corporate Responsibility Manager at Liebherr-Hausgeräte GmbH, is also pleased: "This award motivates us to also continue to live up to our responsibility. We are convinced that we can only be successful over the long term when we always consider this in our action and advocate the best possible harmony between economy, ecology and society."
About the award
Within the framework of the nationwide survey consumers rated the sustainable commitment of almost 1,500 companies and brands. The consumers had to answer the question whether they found that the companies/brands demonstrated sustainable commitment in the last twelve months. Over 465,000 responses were recorded and evaluated.

Liebherr is increasing the overall service life of its Fibre ropes from 14 to 16 years, with the decisive period of use rising to up to 12 years. This is based on multi-year ageing trials on test rigs and analyses of ropes already in field. The new ruling applies automatically to all new ropes and those already in the field. This step forms part of Liebherr's ongoing path towards establishing Fibre technology as the new standard in the tower crane market.
