Wiesbauer lifts 100-tonne steel plates onto the new Neckar valley bridge with LR 1700-1.0 and LTM 1650-8.1

High above the Neckar valley, an impressive project is currently under construction: as part of the new Horb bypass, the Karlsruhe Regional Council is building a 667 metre long and around 65 metre high bridge, which will carry the B32 federal road over the Neckar in future. Two Liebherr cranes from Wiesbauer GmbH & Co. KG - an LR 1700-1.0 crawler crane and an LTM 1650-8.1 mobile crane - were used to install solid steel plates on the underside of the two carriageway spans.

New underground railway: Liebherr’s LB 55 drills through Munich

For a technically demanding construction site in the centre of Munich, the Max Bögl Group is relying on Liebherr’s most powerful drilling rig. The LB 55 was specially designed for large-dimensioned bored piles, such as those required for the extension of the U5 underground railway line. Liebherr recently handed over the keys for the new LB 55 to its long-standing customer at Bauma.

First MK 120-5.1E installs emergency roofs in Bern

Swiss company Zaugg AG Rohrbach put the first MK 120-5.1E delivered by Liebherr into operation this summer. The brand new mobile construction crane made its debut in the narrow streets of Bern's old town. At a height of around 20 metres and with a reach of up to 45 metres, the crane positioned temporary roofs over two construction sites – entirely powered by electricity.

Liebherr helps shape one of Germany’s first low-emission construction projects

A model construction site is being realised in Buchholz in der Nordheide. Partners from the construction, energy and mechanical engineering sectors are focusing on a completely emission-free concept. As part of the Hyperlink project, transmission system operator Gasunie and the FRIEDRICH VORWERK Group are preparing the existing natural gas network for the transport of hydrogen. Liebherr is providing two battery-electric construction machines.

Focus on industry and construction: Cunzolo strengthens its fleet with Liebherr LTM 1230-5.1 mobile crane

The Brazilian crane and heavy haulage contractor Cunzolo Máquinas e Equipamentos Ltda. has expanded its fleet with a new LTM 1230-5.1 mobile crane from Liebherr. The 5-axle crane will in future be used primarily for the assembly of tower cranes as well as industrial maintenance work and is intended to further strengthen the company's presence in the industrial and construction sectors.

Liebherr dozers arrive in Colombia

Premiere: Liebherr showcases HVAC solutions at IREE 2025 for the Indian market

Based in Ontario, southern Canada, L. Walter & Sons Excavating currently operates a solid rock quarry with particularly challenging working conditions, including the extraction of heavy materials of 2.2 t/m3 density, large-size blocks and abrasive rock. LTM 1650-8.1 adds another floor to paediatric clinic

Wiesbauer GmbH & Co. KG, a large crane and heavy haulage company based in southern Germany, added a new Liebherr LTM 1650-8.1 mobile crane to its fleet last summer. The crane was delivered with both versions of the telescopic equipment with lengths of 50 and 80 metres. The first deployment with the long T5 boom took place recently. The crane lifted large construction modules for a future school onto the flat roof of a clinic building.
