Our vacuum perlite technology is an innovation that will transform refrigeration and freezing. Introducing BluRoX. Instead of conventional polyurethane (PU) foam, this innovative technology uses a more effective form of cold insulation: a vacuum. Finely ground lava stone, known as perlite, stabilises the vacuumed components.

The FNXa 522i - The first Cradle to Cradle Certified® freezer
The Liebherr FNXa 522i freezer is coming and will be available 2026. Born from volcanic rock and over a decade of innovation, is unique in the market. It unites all the benefits of our BluRoX technology, ensuring unmatched energy efficiency (Class A) and up to 30% more storage. The base cooling module cassette ensures easy maintenance. Its circular design allows each component to be reused, earning the Cradle to Cradle Certified® Bronze certification. Our freezer is built for the eco-conscious consumer and steps towards a future that is not linear – but circular.
FNb 505i – our first freezer with BluRoX
BluRoX is already available – in the door of our FNb 505i freezer. The groundbreaking vacuum perlite technology offers an unprecedented and extremely efficient cold insulation. Thus, freezers can achieve top values in energy efficiency. In addition, the materials in the door can be sorted and reused at the end of their service life.

NoFrost
When you open your freezer, you want to see frozen food – and certainly not ice and frost. NoFrost protects the freezer compartment from unwanted icing, which consumes a lot of energy and can be expensive. NoFrost means no more tedious and time-consuming defrosting of the freezer compartment, more time for other things – and saving money.
Touch & Swipe display
Control of your Liebherr at your fingertips: thanks to the Touch & Swipe display, you can operate your refrigerator intuitively and with ease. Simply select functions such as SuperCool on the colour display by tapping and swiping. The temperature is controlled just as easily. And, what if you are not actively using the display? Well, it then shows you the actual temperature.
EasyTwist Ice
Whether it's a summer day or a party: Thanks to EasyTwist Ice, you can prepare a supply of ice cubes quickly and easily – without the need for a fixed water connection. Simply fill the tank with water, let it freeze and then release the finished ice cubes with a simple twist – and you're ready to serve cool drinks. The EasyTwist Ice is easy to clean and ensures hygienic ice cube production at all times.
EasyOpen
Done this before? After putting all the shopping in the freezer you remember an item of food you have forgotten – and have to give the door a good pull to open it again. With your Liebherr, you don't need to do this. EasyOpen means the door can be opened multiple times one after another, conveniently and easily.
SuperSilent
Shhh – listen carefully. Your Liebherr is so quiet that you have to strain your ears to hear it. How is this achieved? All refrigeration components such as compressors, valves, fans and evaporators are optimised and perfectly adapted to one another. This means you only hear what you want to hear in your kitchen.
LED freezer compartment lighting
When you open the drawers in your Liebherr freezer, not only are you welcomed by the sight of your food, but also by the attractive lighting. This is provided by powerful, long-life, environmentally-friendly LEDs. The lighting makes it even easier to see all of the contents and is also a unique design element.
SpaceBox
Accommodate the “big stuff” in your Liebherr: An XL turkey or a multi-layered ice cream cake simply needs more space. Your Liebherr has the SpaceBox for exactly that purpose: At a generous height of 250 mm, it offers lots of extra space, even for large frozen goods. Helpful for you when storing food flexibly.
FrostProtect
Not all freezers are fitted in heated rooms. Some are located in cold garages or sheds. It’s good then that your Liebherr is ideally set up for such a cool environment because all components are designed to operate in ambient temperatures as low as -15 °C.
SuperFrost
Want to freeze your fresh food in a way that preserves vitamins? Simply activate SuperFrost – and the freezer compartment will increase its cooling capacity. In this way, the temperature remains constant when you place in unfrozen food. SuperFrost is also energy-saving: if you don't switch off the function manually, it automatically deactivates itself after 65 hours.
VarioSpace
Looking for somewhere to safely store a multi-tiered ice cream cake until the summer party? No problem for your Liebherr freezer: it knows that sometimes you just need more space. Thanks to VarioSpace, you can simply remove individual freezer drawers – and voilà: here’s your extra-high storage space!

Materials
Materials used in refrigerators and freezers come into contact with food and must therefore meet specific criteria. At Liebherr, we ensure compliance with food safety standards.
We are committed to continuously increasing the proportion of recycled materials in the future.
Where do we stand?
Currently, we are unable to procure sufficient quantities of recycled materials for plastics and glass that meet these requirements. In the case of steel, the recycled content could not be reliably demonstrated by our suppliers.
