Modular maintenance guides Liebherr aftersales service
Liebherr-Australia’s introduction of modular maintenance has allowed for significant decreases in machine downtime for its customers. Since the concept was first trialled in 2014, the company has undertaken over 200 module changeouts across its branches in QLD, NSW and WA.
Australian Mining investigated the development of this maintenance method, its benefits, and future projects to the modular maintenance program, by speaking with Liebherr-Australia executive general manager customer service Tony Johnstone, and general manager customer support Paul Murphy.
