Liebherr showcases its expertise at electronica 2026

Under the guideline ‘everything from a single source’, Liebherr-Electronics and Drives GmbH premieres at electronica in Munich in hall A1, booth 200 and also in the edge lab LIVE! in hall C5, booth 100/29. From 10 to 13 November 2026, the Liebherr team will offer insights into its broad and modular portfolio of products and services – ranging from development, testing and qualification services through to electronics manufacturing services, innovative battery systems and high-performance edge AI gateways.

One of the highlights on the exhibition stand is the battery solution with a power density of 30,000 W/kg. It brings together high-power output and the dimensions of just 160 × 45 × 70 mm, which is roughly equivalent to the volume of a 0.5-litre drinks can. The cell-linking technology developed for this purpose increases the maximum current that can be drawn from each battery cell from 280 to 868 amperes.

In hall C5, stand 100/29, Liebherr will also be presenting the LiRISE® end-to-end IoT solution as part of the edge lab LIVE! event. The solution combines robust edge gateways with edge and cloud functionalities, comprehensive connectivity, multi-OS support, as well as security and lifecycle functions. LiRISE® is designed to meet the requirements of industrial and mobile applications and supports customers from the development stage right through to the long-term operation of their solutions. Be it a standalone solution or a complete system, customers from a wide range of industries benefit from the holistic approach: Liebherr supports projects from the initial concept phase, through the development of hardware and software, to qualification, series production and long-term support. This results in tailor-made and competitive products.
