Working round the clock in the timber industry: Liebherr wheel loaders and material handlers in northern Italy

In north-eastern Italy, not far from the Alps and the River Tagliamento, lies the headquarters of wood-based materials specialist Fantoni. On the extensive factory grounds, bathed in the warm sunshine, two XPower wheel loaders and two material handling machines perform key tasks: from handling fresh timber and sorting recycled wood waste to feeding the processing plants.

Six RL 2600 Liebherr offshore cranes to boost the North Sea wind infrastructure

Seatrium Ltd. has acquired six Liebherr Ram Luffing cranes, RL 2600, for TenneT’s 2-gigawatt (GW) offshore wind transmission system in the Netherlands. Two cranes will be allocated to each of the platforms IJmuiden Ver Beta, IJmuiden Ver Gamma and Nederwiek Beta. They will integrate the LiMain system to support remote maintenance on unmanned platforms.

Liebherr presents innovative solutions for the aviation of tomorrow at ILA 2026

Liebherr-Aerospace will showcase multiple solutions for tomorrow’s civil and military aviation at ILA Berlin from June 10 to 14, 2026. Latest innovations such as modular electro-mechanical actuators, solutions for decentralized hydraulic supply or electrical environmental control systems can be seen in hall C at booth no. 210. Liebherr's activities in the defense sector will be shown at the booth as well as at ILA’s Military Support Center.

Liebherr cranes support the renovation and extension of the Torre del Agua in Zaragoza

The 76-metre-high Torre del Agua was erected for Expo 2008 in Zaragoza, Spain. The structure, shaped like a drop of water – clearly recognisable from a bird’s-eye view – housed the ‘Water for Life’ exhibition during the World Expo. As part of the current renovation and extension to include a glass viewing platform, a Liebherr 110 EC-B 6 FR.tronic tower crane from Grúas Cerezo is being used. This was installed using a Liebherr LTM 1650-8.1 mobile crane from Grúas El Portillo.

High lifting capacity, long reach: new LTM 1300‑6.4 for Mert Vinç

The Turkish crane and heavy haulage company Mert Vinç is expanding its fleet with a new LTM 1300-6.4. The 300-tonne crane combines high lifting capacities, long boom lengths and the new LICCON3 control system with a compact design and flexible configuration options.
