Liebherr-Aerospace in Dubai: new location, extended services, many advantages

Liebherr-Aerospace will launch operation of a new service center in the Middle East in early 2026. Located within the Mohammed bin Rashid Aerospace Hub (MBRAH) in Dubai South (UAE), the new facility will offer extended customer services for air management components. Strategically located next to the new Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC-AMIA) in Dubai, the service center will initially be certified according to EASA/GCAA Part 145.

This development accompanies and supports the Middle East's growing demand for aftermarket repair capacity for Liebherr products on board a wide variety of commercial aircraft, business jets, and helicopters. Covering an area of around 2,400 m2, a wide range of service activities will be carried out directly on site in the future – to bring value and performance to regional customers.

1. Proximity to the customer

Located within MBRAH, the Liebherr-Aerospace facility is in close proximity to operators and partners in the UAE and will offer optimized access to MRO services regionally. Based in Dubai, one of the world’s major international air hubs, the Liebherr team will be very near to its customers and can respond to their needs in a pro-active and timely manner.

2. Shorter turnaround times

Liebherr-Aerospace will provide its component MRO services locally in compliance with full OEM quality standards and thus achieve optimized logistics turnaround times. Until now, regional customers have been supported by Liebherr service centers in Europe and the United States. In future, they will benefit from MRO solutions provided by teams of experts on site. Thanks to the direct connection via Dubai, customers can expect faster and more cost-effective logistics.

3. Tailored support to the needs of customers

Through its global customer service organization, Liebherr has established a worldwide network of service centers that offer tailored solutions for the specific needs of regional customers. In the Middle East, the performance of operators throughout the region will benefit from this substantial extension of Liebherr-Aerospace’s portfolio, as the MRO services will substantially supplement the comprehensive range of OEM-oriented services, including product support, digital condition monitoring, optimized logistics, and spare parts pooling.

4. Environmental impact

In line with Liebherr's commitment to taking care of environmental health and safety, protecting against risks from chemical exposure, and promoting a more sustainable future for the aviation industry, all materials and work processes at Liebherr-Aerospace’s service centers are designed to comply with the EU's REACH regulation (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, and Restriction of Chemicals).

In addition, shorter transport routes further reduce the impact on the environment, improve the CO2 footprint and reduce other pollutants.
