Con il sistema autonomo “Autonomous Operations di Liebherr” e la prima pala gommata di grandi dimensioni con motore a idrogeno, Liebherr-Werk Bischofshofen GmbH presenta alla Bauma 2025 due innovazioni che rappresentano i più recenti progressi nei campi della digitalizzazione e delle tecnologie di propulsione. La soluzione autonoma, che si trova in una fase avanzata di sviluppo, consente di operare completamente senza conducente ed è particolarmente adatta per i compiti standard monotoni e le operazioni in aree pericolose. Oltre a questa prima assoluta, Liebherr presenta anche innovazioni pionieristiche nel campo delle tecnologie di propulsione: la 566 H è il primo prototipo di una pala gommata di grandi dimensioni con motore a idrogeno e completa il portafoglio delle prese di forza alternative. Dopo la Bauma 2025, Liebherr avvierà con questa macchina un test di circa due anni presso STRABAG, un importante gruppo tecnologico europeo per i servizi di costruzione.

‘Hands on the future’: At Bauma 2025, on an area spanning roughly 14,000 m2, Liebherr is displaying more than 70 future-focused exhibits from the product segments of earthmoving machinery, material handling technology, mining, mobile and crawler cranes, tower cranes, deep foundation machines, concrete technology and components.

High-performance material handling technology at Spedition Trettin

Spedition Trettin is a German family-run company, now in its fifth generation, that deals with the handling of municipal waste and the treatment of mineral waste. Three Liebherr earthmoving machines are used at the Gelsenkirchen site for material handling and loading and unloading activities. Trettin appreciates the quality of the Liebherr machines, the driver comfort and the quick response of our service teams.

Liebherr-Werk Nenzing GmbH converts to HVO fuel

Since August 2024, the Liebherr factory in Nenzing, Austria, has switched to HVO fuel for the machines it produces. The big advantage in using this instead of fossil diesel is that it is largely CO2 neutral. The company is thus making an important contribution to reducing global greenhouse gas emissions. The HVO fuel is now also being used in the factory’s supply chain.

Mota-Engil orders 10 Liebherr railroad excavators for a major project in West Africa

The Portuguese construction company Mota-Engil has once again opted for Liebherr railroad excavators. The ten new machines of the type A 922 Rail Litronic will be used for a major railway project in Nigeria and Niger.

100,000th machine: Liebherr sets milestone on its 75th anniversary

It is another milestone in the history of Liebherr-Hydraulikbagger GmbH: the production of the 100,000th machine at the Liebherr Group's founding site. The anniversary machine is absolutely unique, as all employees were able to place their names on the machine. The white LH 22 M Industry therefore bears a very special signature.

Sand kings: XPower wheel loaders and their smart machine concept are ideal for handling sand and gravel

For more than 20 years, Hülskens GmbH & Co. KG has been using powerful Liebherr machines for extracting and processing mineral raw materials. Eleven XPower wheel loaders perform part of the material handling on the site. Smart assistance systems ensure more effective work cycles and easier operation of the wheel loaders. In addition to the excellent machine quality, Hülskens appreciates Liebherr's outstanding service expertise and availability of spare parts.

Liebherr at IFAT 2024 in Munich

Liebherr will be present at IFAT 2024, the world's leading trade fair for water, sewage, waste and raw materials management, which will take place in Munich from 13 to 17 May 2024, with a stand measuring around 280 m². In Hall C5, Stand 151/250, Liebherr will be exhibiting machines specially designed for use in waste management and recycling. The new LH 40 M Port Elektro electric material handling machine will be celebrating its trade fair premiere in Germany, as well as the new GMM 35-5 multi-tine grapple. With the L 507 E and the L 566 XPower, Liebherr will be showing two representatives from its wheel loader portfolio. The Liebherr T 60-9s, T 41-7s and T 33-10s telescopic handlers will also be part of the exhibition appearance. In the area of digitalisation, Liebherr will be showing the LiXplore® camera monitor system.

On an icy mission: HS 8200

Around 250 kilometres north of the Arctic Circle, Liebherr is part of the largest construction project in Greenland's history. Munk Civil Engineering is carrying out dredging work for two airport projects with the HS 8200 duty cycle crawler crane. The Arctic conditions and logistics pose a particular challenge.

Used Equipment Marketplace: New portal for Liebherr used machines

With the Used Equipment Marketplace, Liebherr is launching a new portal specifically for the sale of used machines. On this digital platform, customers can find a wide range of used construction and material handling machines, used attachments and accessories as well as used spare parts – directly from certified Liebherr sales and service partners. The Used Equipment Marketplace is available both as a website application in the new Liebherr design with many different features and as an app for quick, direct access on a smartphone.
