La excavadora sobre cadenas R 926 Compact de Liebherr conquistó el galardón Red Dot Award: Product Design 2015. El jurado internacional otorgó a la excavadora sobre cadenas de Liebherr la distinción Red Dot por la elevada calidad de su diseño. Liebherr exhibirá la premiada excavadora sobre cadenas del 20 al 25 de abril de 2015 en la feria Intermat en París.
El año pasado Liebherr comenzó a comercializar la excavadora compacta de 25 toneladas, que, con su elevado confort, productividad mejorada y rentabilidad, ha sustituido al anterior modelo R 924 Compact. La R 926 Compact combina las características de una excavadora sobre orugas estándar, como elevada potencia y versatilidad, con las ventajas de una excavadora compacta. Sus dimensiones reducidas y su compactibilidad la convierten en idónea para trabajar en entornos urbanos.
La distinción Red Dot es un sello de calidad reconocido en todo el mundo. El concurso de diseño de productos celebró este año su sexagésima edición. Limitado a 5000 presentaciones de alrededor de 2000 participantes procedentes de 56 países, el Red Dot Award: Product Design es uno de los concursos de diseño de productos más importantes del mundo.

At InnoTrans 2026, Liebherr will unveil its new railroad excavator for the first time: the RE 22 M Litronic. This model expands the existing range to include a machine in the 22-tonne class with hydrostatic rail-wheel drive and is the successor to the A 922 Rail and A 924 Rail. The machine combines tried-and-tested components from the A 922 Rail with a newly developed undercarriage and a new operator's cab.
