La empresa estadounidense McNally-Nimergood Co. amplió recientemente su flota de grúas con una nueva grúa móvil 1400-7.1. La grúa todoterreno de Liebherr ofrece una capacidad de carga de 400 toneladas métricas. Con esto, la LTM 1400-7.1 es una de las mayores grúas móviles en Michigan.
“La grúa complementa excelentemente nuestra moderna flota. El vehículo se maniobra sorprendentemente bien, a pesar de su tamaño,” informa Jeff McNally, director gerente de McNally-Nimergood. “Estuvimos considerando la adquisición de una nueva grúa durante casi un año. Hay que tener en cuenta muchas cosas a la hora de adquirir una máquina tan grande.”
La nueva grúa de 7 ejes de McNally-Nimergood alcanza un alcance máximo de 100 metos. “Tuvimos muchos visitantes durante el montaje de la grúa,” comenta Jeff McNally que trabaja hace más de cuarenta años en el sector de la construcción y del alquiler de grúas. “Se pudo ver nuestra nueva grúa desde más de una milla en el sentido más estricto de la palabra.” Después de su primera puesta en marcha, la LTM 1400-7.1 se encargó de muchos trabajos en la región de Michigan.
