At that time, only a small proportion of German households had their own refrigerator, but Hans Liebherr saw enormous potential in the blossoming economic miracle. With his far-sighted decision, five years after founding his company, he laid the base for Liebherr to develop into a specialist for refrigeration and freezing and still be one of the market leaders in the industry today.
