Schmidbauer invests in 17 new Liebherr cranes

With the handover of the LTM 1450-8.1, Schmidbauer has taken delivery of the first major new addition from its extensive procurement package. The remaining 16 cranes are to be delivered in stages and distributed across various sites within the Schmidbauer Group. The LTM 1450-8.1 will be based at the head office in Gräfelfing near Munich.

Investment in a modern and high-performance crane fleet

With these new acquisitions, Schmidbauer is pursuing a long-term fleet strategy. The focus is on modern technology, high availability and efficiency, as well as the continuous renewal of the crane fleet. In particular, the company aims to further strengthen its capabilities in industrial, energy and infrastructure projects.

The new machines’ range of applications extends from complex lifting tasks in the industrial and energy sectors, through infrastructure projects and plant construction, to large-scale assembly work. The LTM 1450-8.1 expands the vehicle fleet and enhances Schmidbauer’s capabilities for demanding heavy-lift and large-scale crane projects.
