El tramo de la autopista A3 entre Colonia-Mülheim y Leverkusen se ensanchará a ocho carriles. Debido a que los puentes antiguos que cruzan la autopista no tienen la longitud suficiente para la ampliación, se necesitan nuevos puentes. Para el tiempo intermedio durante las obras, una grúa móvil de Liebherr LTM 1300-6.2 de la empresa HKV Schmitz + Partner montó un puente auxiliar en una noche. “La grúa de 300 toneladas ofrece unos fuertes valores de capacidad de carga, por lo que fue idónea para este empleo”, informa Michael Schmitz, director técnico en HKV. La LTM 1300-6.2 se había suministrado a HKV en el mes de abril de este año. La grúa está equipada con el innovador sistema de apoyos VarioBase®. El sistema de la base variable de apoyos de Liebherr ofrece más seguridad y superiores fuerzas de carga.
El puente auxiliar se trajo con cuatro semirremolques en cuatro piezas. La pieza individual más pesada pesó 41 toneladas, mientras que la longitud del segmento más grande ascendió a 24 metros. La LTM 1300-6.2 descargó las piezas individuales de los semirremolques. A continuación las colocó en los fundamentos provisionales preparados, donde se montaron como puente provisional.
