Liebherr estará representada con un stand de feria y con máquinas en la zona de presentaciones en Steinexpo 2014, la feria internacional para la presentación de productos para la industria de materiales de construcción. Liebherr mostrará en Homberg/Nieder-Ofleiden del 3 – 6 de septiembre de 2014 máquinas especiales para el empleo en canteras.
Aquí se presentará por primera vez al público la nueva excavadora sobre orugas de 80 toneladas R 970 SME que está configurada en Homberg con una cuchara abatible de 4,5 m³ con protección contra el desgaste. La cuchara abatible está equipada con el nuevo sistema de dientes Z cuyos dientes autoafilantes garantizan la mejor penetración durante un largo periodo de tiempo.
La excavadora de minería R 9150 se mostrará por primera vez en una feria profesional europea. Se presentó la máquina en la categoría de las 100 toneladas (130 short tons) por primera vez en la feria Minexpo 2012 en Las Vegas (EE.UU.). Liebherr mostrará el sucesor de la R 984 C con una configuración de la cuchara abatible con un volumen de 8 m³ en Steinexpo 2014.
La excavadora R 9100 en una versión con una cuchara de desfonde es otra atracción en Steinexpo. La excavadora de 100 t, presentada por primera vez en Bauma 2010, está equipada en Homberg con una cuchara de Liebherr con un volumen nominal de 7 m³.
Además, Liebherr mostrará en Steinexpo una cargadora sobre neumáticos de Liebherr L 580, así como una L 586 que se empleará en el terreno para presentaciones. Ambas máquinas están especialmente equipadas para el empleo duro en la explotación.

Liebherr-Australia commemorates the opening of its new training centre in Western Australia
Liebherr-Australia held a customer evening at its new training centre in Perth, Western Australia, late last month to celebrate its official opening. The new facility includes three dedicated training rooms equipped with different simulators and a 1,250 m2 workshop for practical training. Customers and industry peers were able to experience training simulators and other cutting-edge training technology throughout the evening.
