New Liebherr RE 25 M railroad excavator at the IAF 2025

Liebherr is presenting its new railroad excavator under a new product name at the 29th International Exhibition for Track Technology (IAF) 2025 in Münster: the RE 25 M Litronic. The model expands the existing portfolio with a machine in the 25-tonne class with hydrostatic rail wheel drive and a profiled uppercarriage. The RE 25 M Litronic uses the proven components of the previous models and supplements them with an innovative undercarriage concept, a new uppercarriage design and a new operator's cab with an intuitive control concept. This is how Liebherr provides its customers with a high-performance machine for rail construction.

Liebherr at LIGNA 2025: Special machines and solutions for the timber and forestry industry

Liebherr will showcase its special machines and solutions for the wood processing industry at the LIGNA 2025 international trade fair for the timber and forestry sector in Hanover. From 26 to 30 May, visitors will be able to explore Liebherr's approximately 475 m² exhibition stand in the fair's outdoor area (Corner 7, Stand L44). The Liebherr LH 26 M Timber material handler and the Liebherr T 60-9s telescopic handler will be among the machines on display. The Liebherr wheel loader L 580 XPower® is equipped with industrial kinematics and high-dump bucket for the timber industry. In addition, an athlete from the STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® series will be a guest on the Liebherr stand and will put on an impressive sawing show. The various product demonstrations will take place several times each day.

Flexible and powerful: Liebherr railroad excavators at the IAF 2025

Liebherr will be showcasing its entire range of railroad excavators at the 29th International Track Technology Exhibition (IAF) 2025 at booth B-421/B-422. In addition to the two proven machines, the A 922 Rail and A 924 Rail, Liebherr will also be presenting the RE 25 M, which was unveiled at Bauma, at the IAF. The machines are used both on railway tracks and in road construction and can be quickly relocated thanks to their wheeled undercarriage.

Anniversary: Liebherr produces its 10,000th XPower wheel loader

The Liebherr plant in Bischofshofen is celebrating a major milestone in its history with the production of its 10,000th XPower wheel loader. At the heart of the machine, standard on all Xpower models, is a power-split travel drive produced by Liebherr’s trusted partner ZF Friedrichshafen AG. The 10,000th XPower wheel loader is therefore not only a cause for celebration for Liebherr, but also for ZF. The anniversary wheel loader will be put into service at the BERGER Group, which is also based in Passau.

Handover of a customised Liebherr R 998 SME crawler excavator to Prangenberg & Zaum GmbH

During Bauma, the managing directors of Prangenberg & Zaum GmbH (P&Z) – a family-run German company specialising in demolition and restoration – were handed the keys to their first Liebherr crawler excavator, an R 998 SME. At P&Z’s request, the 100-tonne-plus machine was specially modified in several ways, in particular for optimal use with an 11-tonne shear.

Kästli Bau AG takes delivery of its new Liebherr R 945 crawler excavator at Bauma 2025

During Bauma, the family-run Swiss company Kästli Bau AG was handed the keys to its new R 945 crawler excavator. In collaboration with the Liebherr Application Center, the machine weighing almost 52 tonnes was custom-equipped for use in demolition work. The R 945 painted in Kästli’s red livery will shortly be put to use in earthmoving and selective demolition work.

R 920 G8-E: presentación de la primera excavadora sobre cadenas eléctrica de batería en la Bauma 2025

Liebherr-France SAS es el centro de desarrollo global del Grupo Liebherr en el área de las excavadoras sobre cadenas para el movimiento de tierras. En la feria Bauma 2025 de Múnich, la empresa presentará el modelo R 920 G8-E: su primera excavadora sobre cadenas eléctrica de batería. La R 920 G8-E ofrece la misma potencia que una excavadora sobre cadenas equipada con motor de combustión, y destaca sobre todo por su bajo nivel de ruido y por el hecho de no emitir ningún tipo de emisiones contaminantes. Estreno mundial en la Bauma 2025: la nueva excavadora sobre cadenas R 917 Compact G8

Con la excavadora sobre cadenas R 917 Compact G8.0 y la R 915 Compact G8, que también se presentará en la feria Bauma 2025, Liebherr-France SAS completa su gama de excavadoras sobre cadenas diseñadas y fabricadas en Colmar. Con un peso en servicio aproximado de 17,5 toneladas, esta nueva máquina se integra en la serie de excavadoras compactas sobre cadenas Liebherr de más de 14 t, convirtiéndola en la gama más extensa del mercado.

Presentación en la Bauma 2025: excavadora sobre cadenas Liebherr R 915 Compact G8

La excavadora sobre cadenas R 914 Compact G6 – la máquina más pequeña de la gama de productos desarrollada por Liebherr-France SAS en Colmar (Francia) – será sustituida próximamente por el modelo R 915 Compact G8. La R 915 Compact G8 es el último modelo añadido a la gama de maquinaria se la sucursal francesa de Liebherr, y celebra su estreno en la feria Bauma 2025. Con ello, la serie de excavadoras compactas sobre cadenas de Liebherr consta ahora de cinco máquinas distintas: R 915 Compact, R 917 Compact, R 920 Compact, R 926 Compact y R 936 Compact.

Liebherr presenta el sistema de control remoto LiReCon en la Bauma 2025

En la feria Bauma 2025, Liebherr inaugura una nueva era en el manejo de la maquinaria de construcción con el sistema Liebherr Remote Control (LiReCon). Los segmentos de productos de Movimiento de tierras y Grúas torre presentan la aplicación práctica de esta tecnología en una excavadora sobre cadenas, un buldócer y una grúa torre del propio fabricante.

L 507 E: Cargadora sobre ruedas con batería eléctrica Liebherr

Desde octubre de 2023, la cargadora sobre ruedas con batería eléctrica L 507 E está disponible en los distribuidores Liebherr de varios países europeos. El modelo es la primera cargadora sobre ruedas electrificada del grupo de empresas. Aúna las ventajas acreditadas de una cargadora Stereo Liebherr con un concepto de propulsión por batería eléctrica desarrollado por Liebherr.
