Even more power for Canada's south-west

At Bauma 2025, J.D.A. Cranes took delivery of two new Liebherr mobile cranes: an LTM 1400-6.1 and an LTM 1160-5.2. The 400-tonne crane will be the most powerful crane in the fleet and will be used in north-west Alberta and north-east British Columbia – including in wind farms and in the oil and gas industry.

More safety on the road: Liebherr wins ESTA Award in the Safety category

The winners of the ESTA Awards of Excellence 2025 were announced at an awards ceremony in Munich on 10 April. Liebherr was honoured in the Safety category for the introduction of driver assistance systems for mobile cranes: These systems ensure greater safety in road traffic and focus in particular on protecting vulnerable road users such as pedestrians and cyclists. Liebherr is the first mobile crane manufacturer to introduce these driver assistance systems.

ESEASA expands fleet for projects throughout Mexico

The Mexican heavy lifting company ESEASA has taken delivery of five new Liebherr mobile cranes – including two LTM 1650-8.1, two LTM 1400-6.1 and one LTM 1250-5.1. The machines will be used in the wind industry, in the oil and gas sector and on road and infrastructure projects throughout Mexico.

Mantenimiento sistemático: Liebherr presenta el concepto Digital Service Booklet

Liebherr-Werk Ehingen GmbH presenta la aplicación Digital Service Booklet en Bauma 2025. Esta herramienta simplifica el mantenimiento y la revisión de las grúas móviles y proporciona, tanto a los técnicos de servicio como a los operadores de los equipos, una plataforma de fácil uso para gestionar la información. Esto significa que toda la información sobre la vida útil de una grúa móvil puede recopilarse en un solo lugar y consultarse online en cualquier momento.

Liebherr continúa impulsando la innovación tecnológica y presenta una nueva generación de grúa de 150 toneladas, la LTM 1150-5.4. Asimismo, en el marco del nuevo sistema de control LICCON3, también se ha optimizado la LTM 1150-5.3. Este equipo de 5 ejes brilla no sólo por su tecnología puntera, sino también por el diseño de grúa de la nueva serie que marca tendencia. Además, la LTM 1150-5.4 está equipada con nuevos sistemas de asistencia al operador que incrementan la seguridad de la conducción en carretera. Los visitantes podrán comprobar el resultado en directo: La LTM 1150-5.4 podrá verse en el stand de Liebherr en la feria Bauma de Múnich.

0 emisiones, máxima potencia: grúa móvil Liebherr LTM 1150-5.4E con accionamiento eléctrico

Liebherr presentará en Bauma 2025 la LTM 1150-5.4, ahora dotada con la nueva generación del sistema de control de grúas LICCON3. Destaca especialmente la variante LTM 1150-5.4E con accionamiento eléctrico, que permite movimientos de grúa sin emisiones y con una contaminación acústica reducida. Con una batería integrada, la grúa puede trabajar de forma autónoma hasta cuatro horas sin conexión a la red eléctrica, mientras que una carga baja conectada en la obra es suficiente para aprovechar toda la potencia de la grúa, ya que la batería actúa como un eficiente amortiguador. La LTM 1150-5.4E cumple con los requisitos de las "obras de cero emisiones" y combina la sostenibilidad con la máxima eficiencia.
