New underground railway: Liebherr’s LB 55 drills through Munich

For a technically demanding construction site in the centre of Munich, the Max Bögl Group is relying on Liebherr’s most powerful drilling rig. The LB 55 was specially designed for large-dimensioned bored piles, such as those required for the extension of the U5 underground railway line. Liebherr recently handed over the keys for the new LB 55 to its long-standing customer at Bauma.

Nordbau 2025: Liebherr presents construction machines for a wide range of applications

From 10 to 14 September 2025, Liebherr is exhibiting three construction machines at the Nordbau trade fair at the Holstenhallen Congress Centre in Neumünster. At booth N 224 in the northern outdoor area, the Group will be exhibiting products from the deep foundation and earthmoving product segments. In the pavilion at the booth, visitors are offered the opportunity to find out more about Liebherr’s remanufacturing programme.

Liebherr-MCCtec GmbH once again awarded EcoVadis-Gold

Liebherr-MCCtec GmbH, a division of the Liebherr Group with production facilities in Nenzing (Austria), Rostock (Germany), Killarney (Ireland) and Sunderland (United Kingdom), has been awarded the EcoVadis Gold Medal for sustainable business practices for the fourth time in a row. This honour places the Liebherr group of companies among the top 2% of companies in its industry and even shows a further improvement in sustainability performance compared to the previous year.

On the second day of Bauma 2025, Liebherr handed over a new HS 8130.1 to Salim Equipment Rental LLC. The machine will strengthen one of the biggest duty cycle crawler crane fleets in the GCC region and will mainly be used for ground improvement operations such as dynamic compaction.

Joachim Kern has been with Liebherr for nearly 20 years and currently works as product manager for duty cycle crawler cranes at Liebherr-Werk Nenzing GmbH. He appreciates both the design and development opportunities in his work, as well as the positive work environment. He finds the diverse applications of Liebherr machines worldwide particularly fascinating. This year, he will be attending Bauma for the sixth time and can be found at the exhibit of the HS 8100.2 dual power.

Con la nueva máquina de hinca y perforación LRB 19, Liebherr lanza al mercado el modelo sucesor de las ya consolidadas LRB 16 y LRB 18. Esta máquina compacta y polivalente está diseñada para todas las aplicaciones habituales en el sector de las cimentaciones especiales El vibrador, martillo o accionamiento de perforación pueden intercambiarse fácilmente mediante un sistema hidráulico de cambio rápido. Su potente motor de 450 kW garantiza la fuerza necesaria para cualquier aplicación.

Mayor profundidad con la máquina de rotación LB 45.1

En el sector de las cimentaciones especiales, Liebherr presentará en la edición de este año de la Bauma la última generación de la máquina de rotación LB 45.1. Gracias a la nueva extensión de la pluma de celosía y a los innovadores sistemas de asistencia, como la protección contra sobrecargas del cabrestante Kelly, el modelo supone un nuevo hito en cuanto a funcionalidad y uso. El vehículo aúna potencia, flexibilidad y eficiencia y ofrece la máxima comodidad al conductor gracias al nuevo concepto de cabina.

La primera grúa sobre cadenas Heavy-Duty totalmente eléctrica de Liebherr es una de las piezas estrella de la Bauma de este año. Con la HS 8100.2 dual power, el Grupo sigue apostando por el desarrollo de equipos con las ventajas de la tecnología de cero emisiones. El modelo ofrece diferentes alternativas de accionamiento en función de las condiciones del lugar de las obras y, gracias a sus cabrestantes de caída libre de 30 toneladas, es todo un portento de alto rendimiento.

Hidrofresa para muros pantalla LSC 8-20 y grúa sobre cadenas Heavy-Duty HS 8130.1

Liebherr presenta en la edición de este año de la Bauma el nuevo paquete para trabajos exigentes de muros pantalla compuesto por una grúa sobre cadenas Heavy-Duty y una fresa. Con su nueva motorización y sus cabrestantes de caída libre de 35 toneladas, la HS 8130.1 es un auténtico portento de potencia y un equipo portador de uso universal.
