Liebherr obtiene para sus nuevas cargadoras sobre neumáticos L 550 hasta L 586 XPower® el premio Red Dot Design Award 2016 en la categoría “diseño de producto”. El jurado compuesto por expertos altamente calificados comunicó esta decisión durante el acto festivo Red Dot Gala que tuvo lugar lunes, 4 de julio, en el teatro Aalto en Essen (Alemania). El diseño inteligente y funcional de las cargadoras sobre neumáticos XPower convenció al jurado internacional. Johann Stickler, gerente y director técnico de la fábrica Liebherr-Werk Bischofshofen GmbH recibió personalmente el galardón, junto a representantes de su equipo. Después del premio iF Design Award en el mes de marzo, se trata del segundo premio de diseño renombrado para las cargadoras sobre neumáticos XPower en este año.
XPower® denomina la nueva generación de las grandes cargadoras sobre neumáticos de Liebherr L 550 hasta L 586. La eficiencia en el consumo de combustible, potencia, robustez y confort fueron los principios más importantes para Liebherr en el desarrollo del producto. Estos principios influyeron también en el desarrollo del diseño – con la especificación de reunir la funcionalidad y la estética.
“Durante el desarrollo del diseño nos centramos en aspectos funcionales como la seguridad y la facilidad en el manejo, pero también nos importó una apariencia potente”, explica Johann Stickler, responsable del desarrollo de las nuevas cargadoras sobre neumáticos en Liebherr-Werk Bischofshofen GmbH como gerente y director técnico. “Por esta razón favorecimos un moderno lenguaje de formas que aplicamos consecuentemente desde el mecanismo de elevación, pasando por la cabina de confort hasta la parte trasera. Por esta razón, la silueta parece compacta y las cargadoras sobre neumáticos transmiten la sensación de dinámica y potencia, incluso cuando están aparcadas.”
