Top class logistics center
As a central hub, the Liebherr logistics center in Oberopfingen supplies Liebherr customers around the world with spare parts for mobile and crawler excavators, wheel loaders, crawler tractors and other earthmoving machines.
Central hub for customers around the world
With an area spanning 47,000m2 - i.e. the size of seven soccer pitches - the new central warehouse offers space for a whole range of different spare parts for the earthmoving division. Currently, approx. 100,000 different spare parts are stored there. This equates to roughly 6 million individual items.
New continental warehouse
Liebherr began constructing the new logistics center in mid 2013. On June 19 2015, the central warehouse near Kirchdorf an der Iller officially started operations.
Fully automated material flow and maximum supply reliability
Energy efficient operating equipment take responsibility for storing and picking the items from automatic warehouse areas up to 36m in height.
Modern warehouse technology for fast dispatch
Modern warehouse technology and commissioning make it possible to dispatch 1,600 individual orders in many European countries – and almost always on the same day the order is received.
