- Handover of new Liebherr mobile construction crane MK 88-4.1
- Customer Grúas Alhambra is satisfied
- Emission-free operation possible, using even less power than the previous model
Grúas Alhambra, a Spanish lifting and transport service company based in Granada, continues to opt for Liebherr and has taken delivery of a new MK 88-4.1 mobile construction crane.
“This crane allows us to offer outstanding individual solutions. As a mobile and tower crane rental service, we are confident that the MK88-4.1 Plus is the perfect addition to our rental fleet. We are proud to have this Liebherr mobile construction crane as part of our fleet – it gives us security in terms of our day-to-day work,” says Abraham Molina, Alhambra Crane Manager.
Featuring proven MK technology, this mobile construction crane is even more powerful and flexible than its predecessor, the MK 88 Plus. This is particularly evident in luffed jib position, where loads can be lifted to a height of 59.1 metres. New elements include, for example, its different axle load options, which make the crane significantly more economical. The construction machinery manufacturer has also taken the environment into account: the MK 88-4.1 can operate emission-free using even less power than its predecessor. With a jib length of 45 metres, the standard hook height is 30.2 metres. The crane has an 8,000 kg maximum load capacity.
The Andalusian company Grúas Alhambra has been active in the rental of various types of construction machinery since the 1960s, but has over the years primarily specialised in the hire of tower cranes, mobile cranes and truck-mounted loading cranes, with and without crane operators. With its carefully selected rental fleet and high safety standards, the 80-strong company has worked its way to the top of the industry. Grúas Alhambra already has 60 Liebherr tower cranes in its fleet and is now extending this provision with the new Liebherr MK 88-4.1mobile construction crane.
