Responsibilities
- Provide effective leadership and direction to the Remanufacturing operational team
- Ensure Reman Standards and relevant ISO Standards are met
- Complete QA documentation and NDT requirements
- Manage team’s work- flow
- Manage budgets and forecasts for the group with a focus on Actual vs Standard hours for each team
- Liaise with customers and suppliers to ensure demands are met
- Ensure cost efficient management of allocated resources, equipment and facilities
- Supervise and train new and existing group members
- Manage the allocation of time for the teams to complete TELL training
- Assist in Workers Compensation claims management and rehabilitation
- Provide reports on all activities of the group’s operations
Skills and qualifications
- Certificate III Engineering (Mechanical) essential
- Demonstrated <5 years industry experience
- Proven leadership experience with large groups / teams
- Certificate IV Leadership & Management desirable
- Certificate IV Project Management desirable
- MS Project experience highly desirable
- Large excavator / haul truck and mining equipment experience is well regarded
- High level organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously, to collaborate and support wider team
