Just four days after delivery, the new Liebherr LTM 1400-6.1 completed its first job for Kuiphuis Kraanverhuur B.V. The debut took place, of all places, in Oldenzaal – the headquarters of the Dutch crane hire company. There, the 450-tonne mobile crane precisely lifted a 73-tonne precast basement into an excavation pit. Limited space, a challenging access route and the highest standards of precision made the operation a particular challenge.
