Accurate positioning and precise execution of piling or drilling processes are crucial for the success of deep foundation machinery. Using latest satellite navigation technology, Liebherr’s positioning system LIPOS assists the driver in aligning attachments and tools precisely. The compiled data of the piling or drilling processes can be stored for quality assurance and project reporting.

    Liebherr drilling rig LB 36 with LPOS® installed

    The LIPOS® data interface provides the GNSS machine control system with the required sensor data from the control unit of the Liebherr machine, for example tilt/inclination or rope length for depth measurement.

    Furthermore, DGNSS position data can be stored using a software enhancement from Liebherr’s proven process data recording system PDE® for deep foundation machines.

    Seamless integration into existing Liebherr IT solutions

    LiDAT® process data transmission enables automated transfer of position and process data via mobile communication network to the reporting software PDR2 for visualization and analysis purposes. Reports generated in the PDR2 solution are used for traceability, documentation and quality assurance of piling and drilling processes.

    Simple integration of DGNSS hardware

    A mechanical preparation kit for external machine navigation systems consists of fixtures that allow for easy and quick installation of DGNSS hardware without the need to change the machine structure.
