Microprecision parts for injection systems have been manufactured in Deggendorf, Bavaria since 1998. In 2015 Liebherr takes over the responsibility and one year later opens a new ultramodern factory at a new location under the name Liebherr-Components Deggendorf GmbH. Two years later the portfolio of the company is expanded to include the development, production and assembly of common rail injectors for engines in the medium and heavy-duty range. The development and manufacture of common rail high pressure pumps follows in 2019. Liebherr-Components Deggendorf GmbH now covers the entire product portfolio of hydraulic injection components. The versatile product offer ranges from precision parts, hydraulic and electronic individual components through to complete system solutions. Thanks to the high degree of production flexibility, customers in niche applications are also optimally supplied with system solutions and small quantities.
Optimal use of Liebherr synergies
The common rail injection systems from Liebherr are validated, proven and tried-and-tested solutions for use around the world. As an OEM in the commercial vehicle area, the Liebherr Group not only has decades of know-how and expertise in the application of diesel engines, but also makes these vehicles in factories in Bulle, Switzerland and Colmar, France. Apart from engine production, the validation and integration of injection systems are also realised there. As a result, the rapid testing and passing through of the entire validation programme are guaranteed - from the individual component through to the final application in the field.

Liebherr's injection technology is characterised by a long service life, low wear and strong product features also in different fuel qualities around the world. It is designed for medium and heavy-duty engines, as well as for large engines in on- and off-highway applications and stationary applications. The fields of application range from engines with 1 litre displacement per cylinder through to large engines with 5 litre displacement per cylinder. Equally suitable for in-line and v-engines, the highly flexible systems support compliance with current and future emissions standards. State-of-the-art manufacturing processes and decades of experience in the development, design, production and reconditioning of components make a significant contribution towards the quality and performance of the Liebherr injection systems.
Microprecision manufacturing
Liebherr-Components Deggendorf GmbH produces the majority of the system-critical precision components in the micrometre range (µm). Ultramodern engineering methods and manufacturing processes are used here.
Hydraulic components
Injectors and high pressure pumps from Liebherr have a particularly compact design. As a result, they satisfy the highest requirements in relation to the installation space and engine manufacturers are very flexible in their engine design. All hydraulic components of Liebherr injection systems are designed for maximum flexibility in the toughest conditions. They impress with their robustness against aggressive fuels and their high degree of efficiency with minimum fuel consumption.
System solutions
Liebherr delivers complete injection systems consisting of a high pressure pump, rail, injectors and electronic control unit (ECU). Professional application engineers support the engine manufacturer with the integration of hydraulic and electronic components in their power units. The injection system is optimised for different emissions standards, low consumption or the highest engine performance according to the requirement.
