Liebherr-Werk Biberach GmbH operates the largest Liebherr plant for tower cranes. The company provides a crane solution perfectly matched to every structural engineering task. The different systems and size categories are used on all continents in very different conditions.

Service optimization through competence centers

In 2013 Liebherr-Werk Biberach GmbH founded two new competence centers. The "Tower Crane Solutions" team provides customized solutions for customers worldwide in special projects, power station and plant construction, as well as for realization of wind farms. The "Rental and Used Machine Center" coordinates the worldwide rental of Liebherr tower cranes and the sale of used machines. Its two new competence centers allows the Group to optimize its comprehensive service even further.

Variable use on the construction site

The flexible fast-erecting cranes and high-performance top-slewing cranes have proven effective in residential construction, as well as in industry and major projects. The mobile construction crane series is ideal for cramped construction sites where high lifting capacities and long reaches are required at short notice. These cranes combine the mobility of the mobile crane with the functionality of the tower crane.

The smallest and largest crane from Biberach

The smallest crane from Liebherr-Werk Biberach GmbH is the mobile 13 HM.1 fast-erecting crane. It lifts 500 kg at the tip of its 22-meter long boom and can bear a maximum of 1.5 tons. The largest crane is the 4000 HC 100 top-slewing crane – it lifts 22.5 tons at the tip of its nearly 100-meter long boom. The maximum load is 100 tons.
