In New York City, the new Liebherr Luffing Crane 710 HC-L starts with its job

The first Liebherr luffing crane 710 HC-L 32/64 Litronic has recently been erected on the MoMA Tower jobsite in New York City (USA) and just started its work. Together with a second 710 HC L, that will be delivered mid 2016, the two tower cranes help to build the 76 story building in Midtown Manhattan. With a height of 320m (1,050ft), the skyscraper will be one of the highest buildings in the city. Both cranes are leased from the North American Liebherr dealer Morrow to the contractor Sorbara Construction, Lynbrook, New York. Find out more

Liebherr 85 EC-B 5i Flat-Top Crane at Excon 2015

At Excon 2015 in Bengaluru, Liebherr is presenting the 85 EC-B 5i Flat-Top crane. This crane model is being assembled at Liebherr's Pune plant since 2012. The 85 EC B 5i has the potential to exceed the 71 EC-B, currently Liebherr's most popular model in India, which offers widely similar specifications. The 85 EC-B 5i has a maximum load capacity of 5,000kg and can lift 1,300kg at the jib end, up to a maximum working radius of 50m. Find out more

Liebherr Cranes used on the construction of Queensferry Crossing, Scotland

In Edinburgh (Scotland), more than 12 Liebherr cranes, including three Liebherr 630 EC-H 40 Litronic top-slewing cranes are involved every day in the Forth Crossing Bridge construction. Following its scheduled completion by the end of 2016, this 2.7 km long bridge will be the world’s longest cable stayed bridge with three towers. Products from three Liebherr divisions have been used extensively during the life of the project. Find out more

Liebherr supplies 58 Tower Cranes for the New Airport in Istanbul

It is an ambitious project with lots of superlatives and at the same time the largest single order in the history of the Liebherr Tower Cranes division: The new Istanbul Airport will be the largest airport in the world with around 150 million passengers passing through it every year from 2020. A total of 58 EC-H series cranes will be used to build the "İstanbul Yeni Havalimanı". The first of these tower cranes were delivered recently and will remain installed at the airport until 2018. Liebherr 150 EC-B Flat-Top crane on the Zugspitze - construction crane on Germany's highest peak ready for use

The erection of the 150 EC-B 6 Litronic Flat-Top crane from Liebherr on Germany's highest peak, the Zugspitze, went perfectly. Liebherr presents a Cross Section of its Varied Range of Cranes at the CTT Moscow 2015

The Liebherr Group presents a selection of its varied range of cranes at the CTT Moscow. While the LTR 1060 telescopic crawler crane with its variable boom system is predestined for the assembly of finished parts, the modular 150 EC-B 8 Litronic flat-top crane can be modified for a broad range of construction site requirements. Visitors to the exhibition are also able to test the crane simulator for construction cranes, which is a permanent item in Liebherr's crane driver training program. Find out more

Liebherr tower crane enables a completely pre-assembled rotor to be installed

World premiere - The largest Liebherr tower crane model the 1000 EC-B 125 Litronic made it possible to lift a completely pre-assembled rotor, with a diameter of 113m, for a new wind turbine in Deining, Bavaria. The flat-top crane with a hook height of 155.5 m hoisted the assembly weighing almost 70 tonnes to a height of 142.5 m. Find out more
