World premiere at the Bauma Conexpo India 2016: Liebherr NC-B top-slewing crane series

Liebherr is unveiling a new series of top-slewing cranes with a flat-top design at the Bauma Conexpo India: the NC-B cranes. The new 16 EC tower system has been developed for these cranes. Liebherr presents the LTM 1250-5.1 five-axle Mobile Crane at Bauma Conexpo India 2016

Liebherr shows the 250-tonne mobile crane LTM 1250-5.1 at Bauma Conexpo India. The LTM 1250-5.1 is the most powerful mobile crane on 5 axles on the market. It is the third crane model on which Liebherr uses its innovative single-engine concept. In addition to a multi-functional folding jib, a 50 m fixed jib is also available. Greatest Level of Efficiency in All Applications: Liebherr Wheel Loader L 550 at Bauma Conexpo India 2016

At Bauma Conexpo India 2016, Liebherr is exhibiting the wheel loader L 550, an example of its expanding wheel loader product range for India and less / non regulated countries. Due to its hydrostatic driveline, the L 550 is – like all Liebherr wheel loaders – very fuel efficient, consuming up to 25 percent less fuel compared with conventional wheel loaders under the same conditions. Toscani relocates the Alexander von Humboldt sailing ship using Liebherr cranes

In October the 110 year-old sailing ship, the Alexander von Humboldt, was relocated from Bremen's Europahafen to its final berth on the Schlachte, Bremen's maritime district. The famous sailing ship had previously been converted into an event and hotel vessel. As a result of the limited clearance heights of the bridges, the masts had to be removed before it could be transported and then refitted when it reached its final resting place. Crane contractor Toscani used a Liebherr LTM 1200-5.1 mobile crane and a Liebherr HS 853 HD crawler crane for this job. Find out more

Safety first – "Open-heart surgery" on a natural gas treatment plant

A job carried out by an LTM 1500-8.1 operated by Hüffermann Krandienst in Northern Germany featured a high level of safety precautions. A refurbished gas flare had to be erected at a height of around 100 metres at the ExxonMobil natural gas treatment plant in Grossenkneten. In addition to the large eight-axle crane, two additional Liebherr mobile cranes were used for the setup and adjustment work. Find out more
