Liebherr presents electric version of FAT 325 travel drive

At the Bauma 2016, Liebherr is presenting a new version of the FAT 325 travel drive powered by an electric motor from the PGK series. The electric travel drive was designed for devices with an operating weight of roughly 30 to 40 tonnes and is ideal for crawler vehicles with a diesel-electric drivetrain. Liebherr is thus following the electrification trend of off-highway devices, which aims at improving overall efficiency levels. Find out more

New Diesel and Gas Engine Concepts by Liebherr

At the Bauma 2016, with the D96XX and D98XX Liebherr presents its two new V-diesel-engine product lines. Also on display is the new G946 λ1 mobile gas engine, which has been developed especially for agricultural and forestry applications, but also for the construction industry, industrial and transport applications. New generation of common rail systems from Liebherr with additional installation version

At the Bauma 2016, Liebherr is presenting a new installation version of its pioneering common rail injection system 11.2 as well as a new engine control unit. Both in-house developed and manufactured innovations are planned for series production in mid-2016. 81 K.1 and 65 K.1: Upgrade for Liebherr tower cranes

Liebherr has upgraded the 81 K and 65 K fast-erecting cranes in time for the Bauma 2016. The result are two cranes with greater capacity and more flexibility: the 81 K.1 and the 65 K.1. The lifting capacities for both cranes have been increased by up to 20% and at the same time their jibs have been extended by 3m. Furthermore, a new, external cabin is available. Liebherr will present the 81 K.1 at the Bauma 2016 as a representative of the upgraded cranes. Find out more

New 8-axle crane from Liebherr: LTM 1450-8.1 with 85 m telescopic boom on the road

With the hydraulic free-fall hammer H 10 L, Liebherr presents an innovation for the world of deep foundations at Bauma 2016. LiSIM – Simulators for Liebherr construction machines: training under even more realistic conditions

At Bauma 2016 Liebherr presents its enhanced LiSIM concept. With these simulators it is possible to drive tower cranes, duty cycle crawler cranes, crawler cranes up to 300 tonnes and deep foundation machines in a virtual environment under even more realistic conditions. Ambient conditions such as wind, fog and rain, as well as different times of the day and night, are simulated and trained in a realistic manner.
