Germany

Liebherr-MCCtec Rostock GmbH, Rostock
The Maritime Training Centre was founded in 2014. Our training facility includes eight training rooms covering total 1,730 m². We provide you with knowledge on maintenance and operation of Liebherr maritime cranes. Here, experienced trainers and experts from the field ensure the transfer of knowledge in interactive exercises. State-of-the-art training facilities, simulators, cutaway models and numerous maritime cranes on our test stand provide the perfect conditions for successfull training.

Ireland

Liebherr Container Cranes Ltd., Killarney
Established in 1958, Liebherr Container cranes was the first Liebherr factory outside of Germany. It is responsible within the Liebherr Group, for the worldwide marketing, design, manufacture, delivery, erection and servicing of ship to shore container cranes (STS), rail mounted gantry cranes (RMG) and rubber tyre gantry cranes (RTG). From our training centre in Killarney, our expert team of trainers and engineers deliver first class training to operators and engineers of all Liebherr container cranes.

Liebherr USA, Co./ MCCtec – Maritime Cranes, Miami
Liebherr’s Maritime Training Center is a state-of-the-art facility that is conveniently located minutes away from the Miami International Airport. At a low cost, our highly experienced trainer will provide a customized training program for your staff. In addition, Liebherr has developed a highly sophisticated training simulator to provide the safest possible training environment. Capable of recreating numerous operational and environmental conditions, Liebherr’s simulator can prepare your operators in a controlled, safe environment on various equipment types while ensuring a genuine experience.

Liebherr Brasil LTDA, Guaratinguetá
The Training Centre was developed to train both employees and customers from Brazil and South America. With a built area of 2,800 m², the Training Center has eight training rooms and two auditoriums equipped with high-end material. Simulators, machines and components for practical application are also available to improve the learning process.

Liebherr-Africa (Pty) Ltd, Durban
Liebherr Africa offers a highly immersive simulation-based crane operator training. LiSIM® is the only realistic virtual solution for learning the precise controls of Liebherr cranes and innovative features. Different simulators both for technicians as well as for operators allow them to re-enact realistic scenarios in order to be optimally prepared for their everyday work. Different sectional models complement this media-based education

At Montecon we are motivated to stay updated. In April, we participated in two Liebherr Maritime Cranes trainings in Killarney, Ireland, and Rostock, Germany. For two weeks, we had the opportunity to grow our knowledge in maintenance and operation of the E-RTG equipment and mobile cranes that were manufactured especially for Montecon. FAQs

Do you work together with external partners?

Yes. Beside of several external trainers e. g. from Bosch Rexroth, Bromma, RAM, MAN or EGON HARIG, we also work together with port worker training centre OCHA in Belgium.

Do you offer onsite training?

Onsite training is possible by prior arrangement and depending on conditions on site. In general, offshore training is not possible due to safety reasons.

Is online training possible?

Yes, online training is available, but we would always recommend in-person training as being the optimum solution. Please contact the respective location to find out whether online training is possible.

Who should be contacted for organisational questions (hotel, etc.)?

Are there practical exercises on the equipment within the training?

Yes, depending on the course, practical phases on the crane, cutaway models or simulators will be included. For more information, please look into the course catalogues or contact the respective training location.
