"Grand Paris" – Liebherr involved in outstanding project of the century

Paris is growing. Massively. In 2016 the French capital and the surrounding départements were merged to form the "Metropole du Grand Paris" administrative unit. A total of 10 million people live in this enormous metropolis and there are plans to modernise and massively extend its infrastructure over the next few decades. 200 kilometres of underground railway including 68 new stations are planned, some of which are already under construction. Liebherr LR 1500 crawler crane dismantles tunnel drilling machine on Sicily

Strong, compact and simple – the perfect description of the Liebherr LR 1500 in three words. And it was precisely these features which were required to dismantle a large tunnel drilling machine on Sicily. The 500-tonne crawler crane operated by Italian crane contractor Gradito completed the dismantling of this enormous drilling machine as part of a two-month contract for widening a major road. Successful Testing of Eco-clim in Occitania’s TERs

The 100% “green” Eco-clim air conditioning system, which has been tested by the Occitania Region, SNCF and Liebherr-Transportation Systems on a TER train over the last two years, has surpassed expectations in terms of passenger comfort and maintenance costs according to the preliminary conclusions of the trial phase. New Liebherr LTM 1450-8.1 mobile crane delivers strength and flexibility

The Ingolstadt site of crane contractor BKL Baukran Logistik has had a new Liebherr LTM 1450-8.1 mobile crane since February. The first job for the brand-new eight-axle crane, the dismantling of a 75 metre construction crane, was perfect for it. The 85 metre telescopic boom on the LTM 1450-8.1 meant that no extra equipment was required for this job. After a set-up time of less than two hours during the night, the team from BKL Ingolstadt was able to start dismantling the top-slewing crane in the morning. Find out more

Liebherr opens new agency in south-east of France

Liebherr inaugurated its new facility in Rognac on 9th March 2018 in front of 400 customers. The new facility is now in charge of the sales, rental and service of earthmoving, material handling and construction machines. Only 30 km from Marseille, the new location has 60 employees. Find out more
