Synchronised lifting with Sycratronic

Manual tandem lifts come with strict capacity limitations. Sycratronic removes these restrictions by electronically synchronising two cranes, allowing safe tandem lifting with full utilisation of the available load capacity.

Intelligent grabbing with SmartGrip

Varying bulk material properties can lead to uneven grab filling and reduced efficiency. SmartGrip uses algorithm‑based control to adapt the grabbing process, helping operators maintain consistently high filling rates regardless of material condition and outreach.

Anti-sway system for sway-free load

Uncontrolled load movement costs time and concentration. The anti‑sway system calculates load behaviour in advance and compensates movements automatically before any swing can develop, keeping handling stable even at maximum operating speed.

Active heave compensation system Heavetronic

Offshore lifting at sea leaves no margin for uncontrolled movement. Heavetronic® actively compensates wave‑induced vessel motion by predicting vertical crane movements and adjusting the hoist system in real time, ensuring controlled load handling even in rough sea conditions.

Enhancing operational awareness with Liebherr Collision Alert System

During crane operation, movements close to fixed structures and surrounding equipment can create collision risks.

The Liebherr Collision Alert system (LiCAS) supports the crane operator by providing visual and audible warnings when there is a potential danger of collision between the crane structure and predefined obstacles. If no operator reaction occurs, a zone‑dependent speed reduction is activated.

Visual assistance in complex environments with Distance Alerting

Busy terminal environments often leave little room for error. Distance Alerting supports operators when loads move close to surrounding infrastructure or other equipment.

The system visually highlights proximity to potential obstacles along the load path. This helps operators maintain spatial awareness even in dense operating areas. Critical situations can be identified earlier, before distances become too small.
