LTM 1050-3.1 - An economical taxi crane with three axles.

The LTM 1050-3.1 is an all-round economical taxi crane concept. When driven on public roads, it can carry the majority of its ballast or its double folding jib. That makes the 3-axle crane very mobile and ensures it can be readied for use quickly. ECOdrive and ECOmode make driving and operating the crane even more economical as they automatically reduce fuel consumption and noise.

ECOmode

When ECOmode is activated, it controls the speed of the diesel motor automatically in line with the operating speed requested by the crane operator using the control lever. Depending on the model and the specific operating and usage conditions, this can help reduce fuel consumption.

ECOdrive

ECOdrive reduces the diesel engine's rpm and enables faster gear shifts, which can improve ride comfort and off-road performance. On the road, the control system uses engine torque as needed; as a result, fuel consumption can be reduced - depending on the model, driving style, and defined operating conditions - compared to driving without ECOdrive.

Hillstart-Aid

Hillstart-Aid makes starting on gradients easier. Move off safely and easily without rolling backwards.

VarioBase®

VarioBase makes the crane’s support system variable. It enables each outrigger to be extended to a different length. This enhances safety – particularly in constricted spaces. And what's more, the crane’s lifting capacities are significantly increased, particularly over the outriggers and depending on the configuration.

HVO ready

Suitable for operation with HVO.

Driver assistance systems

Driver assistance systems for extra safety on the road. All new mobile crane models are equipped with driver assistance systems that support the crane driver with additional „eyes“. They scan the environment and warn the crane driver to prevent accidents.

Family-run company takes delivery of Liebherr LTM 1050-3.1

A new LTM 1050-3.1 is going to Schleife in the District of Görlitz in East Saxony. Family-run Kran & Transport Lausitz will use the 50-tonne crane to replace a 15-year-old LTM 1045-3. One important criterion behind the purchase decision was that the LTM 1050-3.1 can carry the majority of its counterweights on public roads. That means it can be used quickly and flexibly as a taxi crane.
