New product catalogue for large diameter bearings

At Bauma 2016 in Munich (Germany) Liebherr presented its wide range of large diameter bearings this April. These have now been included into a new product catalogue. In addition to the option of a standardised selection of various bearing designs, the catalogue offers a comprehensive guideline for the construction and integration of a bearing into a respective machine.

From 11 to 17 April Liebherr was represented at Bauma 2016 with over 100 products, an outdoor exhibition stand, a stand for the components division in Hall A4 and a career stand in Hall B0. During the trade fair week, the Group invited visitors to take part in several activities under the motto “Be Part of Something Bigger”, and thus become part of this top-class event.

At one of the most significant exhibitions in aviation electronics and avionics in Europe, Liebherr is presenting on 20. and 21. April 2016 its competence in the development and production of control units and power electronics.

At Bauma 2016 the Liebherr Group presents itself under the motto "Be Part of Something Bigger". A special type of trade fair experience is reflected here. On an exhibition area of over 14,000m², more than 60 construction machines, as well as a variety of other attractions, await visitors from all over the world.

Bauma 2016: Liebherr presents its cost-effective solutions for lifting systems in Hall A4

Liebherr develops components for various degrees of integration – from a planetary plug-in gearbox up to a complete lifting system. All the relevant components are from in-house development and production and, thus, perfectly matched together. With the new winch system DEW550/1916 Liebherr displays at the Bauma an example of a complete lifting system in Hall A4.

Liebherr enhances its hydraulic components portfolio

Liebherr expands its hydraulic components portfolio by energy-efficient hydraulic power units and a new hydraulic cylinder series-production range for pressures of up to 350 bar. The Liebherr Group will, thus, offer its customers further cost-effective and efficient system solutions in this sector. Liebherr will present the latest hydraulic products at the Bauma 2016 in Munich in Hall A4.

Liebherr presents electric version of FAT 325 travel drive

At the Bauma 2016, Liebherr is presenting a new version of the FAT 325 travel drive powered by an electric motor from the PGK series. The electric travel drive was designed for devices with an operating weight of roughly 30 to 40 tonnes and is ideal for crawler vehicles with a diesel-electric drivetrain. Liebherr is thus following the electrification trend of off-highway devices, which aims at improving overall efficiency levels.

New Diesel and Gas Engine Concepts by Liebherr

At the Bauma 2016, with the D96XX and D98XX Liebherr presents its two new V-diesel-engine product lines. Also on display is the new G946 λ1 mobile gas engine, which has been developed especially for agricultural and forestry applications, but also for the construction industry, industrial and transport applications. Other innovative products on display include the SCRFilter for the D93X, D94X and D95XX engine models.

New generation of common rail systems from Liebherr with additional installation version

At the Bauma 2016, Liebherr is presenting a new installation version of its pioneering common rail injection system 11.2 as well as a new engine control unit. Both in-house developed and manufactured innovations are planned for series production in mid-2016. The whole system is designed to meet the common off-road emissions standards as well as on-road guidelines EURO V and EURO VI.

Countdown to Bauma 2016: What exhibits will Liebherr show in Munich?

On the website set up for Bauma 2016 www.liebherr-bauma.com, Liebherr now presents the first exhibits from the areas of construction machinery, mining and components.

Kamaz trucks with Liebherr diesel engines again among the winners of the Dakar Rally and Africa Eco Race 2016

Truck racing team Kamaz Masters sets forth its success story also this year: In the trucks equipped with Liebherr diesel engines, it finishes the Dakar Rally second and wins the Africa Eco Race 2016 in two categories.

Liebherr SCRFilter: Exhaust-gas-aftertreatment system for diesel engines stage V

At the Bauma 2016, Liebherr presents a solution to comply with the EU emissions standard of the future stage V for diesel engines. The SCRFilter has already been certified for diesel engines stage IV and the Swiss market. The SCRFilter complies with the regulations planned for diesel engines stage V and is now being used in machines for tunnel construction. The SCRFilter system is part of the modular Liebherr engine concept, extremely compact and is characterised by long service intervals of over 4,500 hours.

At the 2016 Bauma trade fair from April 11 - 17, the Liebherr Group is showcasing many new and further developed products from every area of its extensive range of construction machines, mobile and crawler cranes, material handling technology, mining, as well as components, on a total display area of more than 14,000m².

Medium pressure pump added to Liebherr hydraulic portfolio

Liebherr component division presents at the Bauma 2016 the newly developed LH30VO axial piston pump of swash plate design. The medium pressure pump complements the existing product portfolio in the range of 280 bar nominal pressure and is suited for use in mobile machinery. The pump for all mobile applications with open circulation has a specific delivery rate of 45cm³ per rotation and is already available with two of the most common controls.

New Liebherr energy storage system Liduro increases productivity of electric drive systems

At the Bauma 2016, Liebherr is presenting for the first time its in-house developed energy storage system "Liduro". This new powerful and flexible system for electric drive systems is based on double layer capacitors.

Liebherr-Components presents newly developed power modules and frequency inverter system

Liebherr will be presenting its new LCU-A and LCU-C power modules for low voltage applications at the SPS IPC Drives 2015 electrical automation exhibition in Nuremberg, Germany from 24 to 26 November. These can be integrated into a modular control cabinet frequency inverter system. The power modules provide an output range of 110 kW to 1,000 kW.
