LHWebPlatform – the basis for your digitization projects

Liebherr offers a modular platform consisting of data profiles, interfaces and the various LHWebPlatform apps. These elements can be used to develop customized solutions which are tailored perfectly to the requirements of the customer. The spectrum of applications ranges from simple monitoring tasks to far-reaching industry 4.0 scenarios – such as process logging, manufacturing analysis and production optimization. A wide variety of transmission paths and protocols – from fieldbus (Profibus, Profinet) to OPC-UA or also umati – enable the connection of the machines, for example to your superordinate systems.

The LHSignalInfo application offers many possibilities:

Draw conclusions about the quality and efficiency of your machine and your production based on the evaluation of these signals
Analyze the recorded signals and export them, for example to Excel, taking into account all measuring points and their exact time stamp
Define your own rules, for example, what the colors of the signal light mean
Choose from a variety of interfaces and protocols such as OPC UA, MT Connect, MQTT or umati

The signals from the respective data profiles are stored in a database of the LHWebPlatform and can be visualized in the LHSignalInfo.

Users can capture text messages and send them to the LHMachineInfo. The user can enter the reasons for standstills and hindrances directly into the LHMachineInfo or send them there via OPC UA. You can create your own labels or use existing ones.

The operating data acquisition can be expanded with your own signal definitions using the logic editor.

System information and live demo

LHWebPlatform is a web application that runs with its database on customer (local) server hardware. Accordingly, the data is safeguarded against external access.
Machine data is never sent to Liebherr or the internet. One-click-setup makes it possible to set up the system without specialized expertise. The server only needs to be accessible from the connected machines.
The app is continuously developed and enhanced. To enable the app functionality, a license key must be provided.

Digital exchange of geometry data and process parameters as well as measurement results

With the GDE format (Gear Data Exchange) you can digitalize parts of your gear production. In addition to geometry data, the format also includes process parameters and measurement results. This allows you, for example, to conveniently parameterize your workpieces during job preparation. For this you can either use our offline LHGearTec programming system or you derive the data from one of your existing systems. With our LHGearTec interface, the machines can import geometry data and process parameters from the GDE file or export them to a GDE file in a standard form.

Optionally, we offer you the transfer of measurement results from a GDE file of a gear inspection machine. We then visualize the measurement record for you to check on the HMI. The measured values can then be digitally transferred from this and the machine calculates the corresponding correction for you. For existing machines with the LH90 interface, we can offer you a converter that converts the parameters from the GDE file into the workpiece, tool and clamping files that can be read by the LH90.

LHProcessMonitoring: Efficient inline process monitoring for manufacturing

The LHProcessMonitoring software for inline process monitoring visualizes the manufacturing process. By analyzing the training data obtained, the software determines limit values that are used to continuously monitor the manufacturing process. This allows errors that could lead to noise anomalies to be identified and rectified at an early stage.

The software is optionally available as part of the LHGearTec operating and programming interface. This integration illustrates the consistent expansion of our comprehensive digitalization product portfolio.

LHProcessMonitoring optimizes the entire process with fault-free components and cost savings

Thanks to continuous recording and transparent evaluation, the LHProcessMonitoring software enables the operator to effectively optimize and stabilize the manufacturing process. Limit violations are automatically recognized, preventing defective components from entering the rest of the value chain.

LHProcessMonitoring guarantees the consistent quality of each individual gear and can replace a downstream full inspection that uses a single flank gear testing system or master gear. This saves considerable investment and set-up costs with a comparatively small initial investment.
